Backbox features four tension brackets (20-ga. spring steel) to allow ceiling depth adjustment from .5" to 2". Tension brackets are secured from the inside using one screw each. Backbox will accept a screw-mount or torsion grille. RF841 Features: • 22-gauge welded steel • Undercoated and lined with a foam deadener to eliminate acoustic and metallic resonance. • Screw holes or notches will mount to a tile bridge in suspended tile ceiling applications. • Black powder epoxy finish • Made in the U.S.A. with certified U.S. steel RF871 10.06" RF841=4.06" RF871=6.69" 11.87" 9.87" 11.25" Foam deadener A&E Specifications: The recessed backbox for 8" speakers shall be Lowell Model __________. It shall be fabricated of 22-gauge steel, undercoated and lined with a foam deadener to eliminate acoustic and mechanical resonance. It shall have four tension brackets to allow ceiling depth adjustment from .5” to 2”. The backbox shall have a 10.06” diameter and be ______” deep. It shall be furnished with one .5–.75" combination knockout for conduit and have a black powder epoxy finish.
