Model: LPTR2-series Lowell Pull & Turn Rack – 19"D (up to 125 lbs. load) Description: The LPTR2 is a knockdown rack made for built-in installations, such as inside cabinetry, to provide convenient slideout access to rackmounted equipment. The removable base can be mounted flush or recessed up to 1.75 inches to allow room for equipment protrusions. The rack secures to its base with front and rear screws. When equipment is mounted and wired, secure the assembly with screws through the front security panel. To service equipment, remove the security panel and slide the rack fully forward, then push the button (in center of base front) to release the lock and rotate the rack until it locks securely at 60 or 90 degrees. Note: When installing rack inside cabinetry, allow sufficient space at sides for rack rotation. Recessed installations may not allow enough room to rotate rack 90 degrees. Features: • Rack with two side stiffeners. • Base includes integral turntable with push button release and two bottom rails to support the slide-out rack. • Accommodates a load up to 125 lbs. • Six (11-ga. steel) corner-post rails tapped 10-32 • Six cable lacing bars • Front security panel (perforated) • Made in the U.S.A. with 100% certified U.S. steel • Black powder epoxy finish • Ships in 2 cartons for efficiency: CARTON ONE includes base with integral turntable, 2 rear corner-post rails, 3 cable lacing bars. Optional steel top with black finish (LPTR-TC). Optional: (order separately) • Steel Top (LPTR-TC): black steel top or shelf. To Service an Installed Rack: 1. Remove the security panel (2 screws). If panel is not used, lock the rack by replacing the screws without the panel. 2. Pull the rack forward to clear the opening. 3. Push the button in the center front of the base to release the turntable and rotate the rack 60 or 90 degrees (right or left). Note: rotate the rack 90 degrees before tying cables to rear lacing panels to ensure adequate length at maximum turn radius. Perform wire tie off when rack is rotated 90 degrees to ensure adequate slack. Height of front rails varies by model. Height of rear rails is 7U on all models. Then secure in position with 2 screws through front security panel.
