TimbreMill  LP10  Series  Specifications         LP10  Series   Loudspeaker   Specifications   Specifications,  configurations,  and  options  are  subject  to  change  at  anytime  without  notice     1   TimbreMill  LP10  Series  Specifications   TimbreMill  LP10  Low  Profile  Series  Loudspeakers  Overview     • The  TimbreMill  LP10  low  profile  loudspeaker  is  a  compact,  weatherized,  rugged,   extremely  versatile,  high-‐quality  3-‐way  MTM  loudspeaker.   • The  LP10  is  built  using  the  finest  Baltic  Birch  available.    All  surfaces  are  treated  with  an   all-‐weather  coating  that  seals  and  protects  the  enclosure  from  moisture  and  the   elements.     The  outside  dimensions  of  the  LP10  were  not  created  by  accident;  they  are  truck  pack   “magic  numbers”  that  allow  for  the  maximum  utilization  of  space  and  ease  of  loading.     •   • The  LP10  is  constructed  with  a  substantial  amount  of  internal  bracing.    The  quality  of  the   design  and  construction  makes  the  enclosure  incredibly  rugged  and  rigid.    Even  when   being  driven  at  full  bandwidth/level  there  are  almost  no  detectable  vibrations  on  any  of   the  side  panels  eliminating  virtually  all  unwanted  acoustic  artifacts  from  any  of  its  faces.   • One  of  the  significant  benefits  of  the  LP10  bracing  design  is  the  excellent  off-‐axis   performance.    The  off-‐axis/rear  sound  is  exceptionally  smooth  and  natural  sounding.     The  greatly  attenuated  and  controlled  off  axis  response  dramatically  increases  the  gain   before  feedback  making  the  LP10  an  excellent  choice  for  stage  use  around  the  pickiest   of  performers  and  engineers.   • Sound  quality,  imaging/sound  stage,  linearity,  and  wide/accurate  bandwidth  enable  the   LP10  to  reproduce  sound  in  a  true  to  life  presentation.    The  LP10  reproduces   studio/mastering-‐lab  quality  sound  at  extreme  output  levels  in  all  weather  conditions.    It   is  a  very  pleasant  non  ear-‐fatiguing  speaker  to  listen  to  at  all  SPL  levels.   • TimbreMill  Loudspeakers  are  assembled  by  hand  in  the  USA  to  ISO-‐9001  standards.     Quality  is  assured  throughout  every  stage  of  manufacturing.    Every  loudspeaker   produced  is  individually  inspected  and  tested  before  it  is  shipped.    The  testing  includes   Transfer  Function  measurements  of  every  loudspeaker  guaranteeing  it  is  within   extremely  tight  tolerance  to  the  “golden  reference”  unit.    No  speaker  is  ever  shipped   that  is  out  of  approved  specification  range.   • TimbreMill  offers  a  five-‐year  manufacturing  warranty  for  our  enclosures,  a  two-‐year   warranty  for  our  amplifiers,  and  a  one-‐year  limited  warranty  for  our  drivers.   • LP10  uses  include:  concert  PA  systems  mains  and/or  front  fills,  theaters,  stage,  front-‐of-‐ house/monitor  mix  position  reference  monitors,  under  balconies,  parade  floats,  dance   clubs,  houses  of  worship,  recording  studios,  mastering  labs,  theme  parks,  cruise  ships,   touring,  rentals,  fixed  installations,  ultra  high-‐end/impact  residential  audiophile  and   theater  systems.                 Specifications,  configurations,  and  options  are  subject  to  change  at  anytime  without  notice   2   TimbreMill  LP10  Series  Specifications   Configurations   LP10-‐P   The  LP10-‐P  is  the  standard  configuration  of  the  LP10  series.    It  is  a  professional  high  output   2,500  Watt  powered  low  profile  weatherized  loudspeaker.    The  standard  color  is  black  however   custom  colors  are  available.   LP10-‐NP     The  LP10  series  loudspeakers  require  our  amplifiers.    We  understand  that  some  users  prefer  to   locate  the  amplifiers  in  equipment  rooms.    The  LP10-‐NP  replaces  the  standard  plate  amplifier  on   the  loudspeaker  enclosure  with  a  connector  plate.    The  amplifier  is  provided  as  a  2-‐space  rack   mount  unit.    The  rack  mount  version  of  the  amplifier  has  identical  specifications  to  that  of  the   LP10-‐P.   LP10-‐P48   The  LP10-‐P48  offers  the  same  quality  and  virtually  identical  performance  as  the  LP10-‐P   (depending  on  the  input  voltage)  but  is  powered  by  a  48~72-‐Volt  DC  only  version  of  the  same   amplifier.      At  48VDC  the  amplifier  can  swing  the  full  range  of  it’s  output  capability  however  the   crest  factor/headroom  is  limited.    This  is  perfect  for  prerecorded  music  reproduction,  and  some   live  applications.    Increasing  the  input  voltage  to  60VDC  allows  for  reasonable  crest   factor/headroom  for  live  performance  reinforcement.    At  72VDC  the  amplifier  preforms  exactly   as  its  AC  counterparts.    Important  Note:  Great  care  should  be  taken  not  to  exceed  72VDC  in  any   circumstances.         Some  uses  for  the  LP10-‐P48  version  include:  Parade  Floats,  Mobile  Audio  Systems,  Theme  Park   Ride  Vehicles,  and  Green  Events.   LP10-‐PSM   The  LP10-‐PSM  is  the  Studio/Audiophile  version  of  the  LP10-‐P.    The  amplifier  and  input  module   for  this  model  are  designed  specifically  for  ultra-‐low  noise  floor  operation  and  critical  listening   environments.       Specifications,  configurations,  and  options  LP10  has  a  static   lobe  in  full  range  mode  and  is  also  perfectly  matched  with  the  FHS-‐01  subwoofer.    If   mounted  in  a  [FHS-‐01]  [LP10]  [FHS-‐01]  configuration  the  90˚  static  lobe  crossover   creates  a  large  MTM  configuration  for  exceptional  pattern  control  across  all  frequencies.   Sound  Pressure  Level   • 127dB  SPL  at  1m  –  Full  Range  Mode   exceptional  pattern  control,  smooth  and  even  coverage  in  tonality  and  seamlessly   matches  the  pattern  and  low  pass  of  the  LF  section.   Dimensions  [Inches]   • 12H  x  32W  x
