Manufacturing Company — Since 1947 LSSB-series Lowell Shallow Stationary Base Description: The LSSB-series of shallow stationary bases provide a subfloor 2.25" below the bottom rack space. This recessed area provides a convenient space to mount accessory devices on the floor of the installation. The base is constructed of 16gauge steel. To facilitate cable access through the bottom, there is a center opening (13" x 5"). Construction is 14-gauge steel finished in durable black wrinkle powder epoxy. Note: Base is not for use with seismic-certified racks. LSSB-27 Features: • Rugged, fully-welded construction. • Easy cable access through center opening. • Includes hardware for bolt-on installation. • Available in two depths: 22", 27" • For use with 19" wide racks (LER, LER-F and LGR-series). • Base will not increase rack height. 5" Options: • Steel Panel (SP-3): 3U steel panel can be used to close the 13" x 5" center opening. The base shall be of an inner platform design that mounts inside the rack frame to add the benefits of a subfloor 2.25" below the bottom rack space. The installed base shall not increase the overall height of the rack when installed. The base shall facilitate cable access through a center opening (13" x 5”). Mounting hardware to attach the base to the rack shall be supplied with the base. Construction shall be 14-gauge welded steel finished in black wrinkle powder epoxy.
