Please read these instructions carefully before using your new Luxury Foot Spa for the first time. Please keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference. WARNINGS • • • • • • • • • • • • •

DO NOT use the Luxury Foot Spa if you suffer from inflammations of the skin, phlebitis, thrombosis, open wounds or broken skin. DO NOT use while drowsy or if you feel you may fall asleep, the Luxury Foot Spa is designed to be used for 30 minutes maximum during any one treatment cycle. DO NOT leave the Luxury Foot Spa unattended when connected to the mains supply and switched on. DO NOT stand in the Luxury Foot Spa, always use whilst sitting. DO NOT overfill; only fill to the line on the inside of the Luxury Foot Spa. DO NOT use chemicals or other treatments e.g. bubble bath in the water, this can lead to damage. DO NOT use the Luxury Foot Spa on a soft or unstable surface, always use when placed on a firm flat surface. DO NOT wrap the mains cable around the Luxury Foot Spa for storage; this may lead to cable damage and cause early failure. DO NOT use the Luxury Foot Spa for any purpose other than that it was designed for. DO NOT use the Luxury Foot Spa without water, this may cause damage. DO NOT use for periods greater than 30 minutes and allow to cool before using again. Always unplug the Luxury Foot Spa before filling it with water or emptying it after use. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with this appliance. The appliance has a heated surface. Persons insensitive to heat must be careful when using the appliance. If water leaks from the appliance it should no longer be used. Regularly inspect the Luxury Foot Spa and its mains cable for signs of damage. The supply cord cannot be replaced; if the Luxury Foot Spa or its mains cord is found to be damaged it should be scrapped.

This Luxury Foot Spa is suitable for use on mains supply voltage in the range 220 - 240 volts ac Before using for the first time ensure all packaging is removed and disposed of in a responsible manner. Regular care and cleaning is essential to maintain your Luxury Foot Spa in peak working condition. Always unplug the Luxury Foot Spa after use and store in a safe place to prevent accidental damage. This Luxury Foot Spa is intended for home use only.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Luxury Foot Spa is ideal for helping you to relax and rejuvenating those tired feet after a long day at work.

HOW TO USE 1. Stand the Luxury Foot Spa on a flat firm surface, close enough to a power socket to prevent stretching the mains cable or creating a trip hazard but do not plug the Luxury Foot Spa into the mains supply just yet. 2. For additional safety we recommend the use of a residual current device (RCD) rated at <30mA (not supplied). 3. Carefully fill the Luxury Foot Spa with warm, not hot, water to the fill line indicated on the inside of the Luxury Foot Spa. The heat option on the Luxury Foot Spa is only designed to keep the water warm it is not designed to heat water from cold. 4. After carefully drying your hands, plug the Luxury Foot Spa into the mains supply and turn on. 5. Sit down and place your feet carefully into the Luxury Foot Spa taking care to check the water temperature is not too hot ! 6. Using a finger press the buttons on the control panel to activate the different features: – to activate vibration massage, press – to activate Bubble Massage + Heat, press 7. Vibration and Bubble massage settings can be used separately or at the same time. 7. N.B. The keep warm function is automatically activated when the bubbles are switched on. The vibration massage can be used with or without water. The bubble massage + heat must only be used with water. 8. To switch off press the buttons again. N.B. The product will automatically turn off after 30 minutes. ATTACHMENTS The Luxury Foot Spa comes complete with rollers that can be located in the bottom of the Luxury Foot Spa, see diagram. When in place these allow you to roll your feet back and forth over them to gain a deep penetrating massage on the soles of your feet. The roller can be easily removed by applying gentle upwards force. The fixing bracket from one side will come away with the roller, take care not to lose this. To reassemble: 1. Insert the free end of the roller into the fixed bracket. 2. Carefully clip the other end, with the bracket attached, back into place. Infra-red heater 1. The Infra-red heater is located in the centre of the Luxury Foot Spa. To use this feature press the button on the control panel. 2. One foot at a time, obtain the benefit of the infra-red heat by placing your foot on the massager. 3. Press the button for a second time to turn off. After Use 1. After using the Luxury Foot Spa ensure you dry your hands thoroughly then turn the unit off and unplug it from the mains supply. 2. Taking care when lifting the Luxury Foot Spa, take the Luxury Foot Spa to a suitable basin or drain and carefully empty it by allowing water to run along the drain spout. Take care not to allow the control panel, mains plug or lead to get wet during this process. 3. Clean and dry the Luxury Foot Spa and store safely for next use.
CLEANING Ensure the Luxury Foot Spa is disconnected from the mains supply and has cooled down after use. Drain any excess water from the Luxury Foot Spa as described earlier and clean the outside case using a damp, not wet, cloth and dry before further use or storage. DO NOT immerse in water. DO NOT use petroleum based or flammable cleaning agents because of fire risk. DO NOT use abrasive cleaning agents.
WARRANTY In addition to your statutory rights, Champneys agrees that if any defect in materials or workmanship appears in the product within two years after the original date of consumer purchase it will repair or, at its option, replace the product free of charge. This applies only if the product has been used for domestic purposes and has not been damaged through misuse, accident or neglect and has not been modified or repaired by anyone other than an authorised agent. SERVICE INFORMATION If the Luxury Foot Spa fails to work please check that it is being used in accordance with these instructions. It is also important to make sure the fuse in the plug and the fuse in the mains supply is intact and that the mains supply is turned on. If the Luxury Foot Spa has been used for longer than 30 minutes it may overheat and stop working, if this happens allow the Luxury Foot Spa to cool down before trying to use it again. If after checking the above, the product is found to be faulty and it is still within its guarantee period, it should be returned together with proof of purchase to your nearest Boots store stocking this or similar products. Regularly inspect the Luxury Foot Spa and its mains cable for signs of damage. The supply cord cannot be replaced; if the Luxury Foot Spa or its mains cord is found to be damaged it should be scrapped. This product contains no user serviceable parts. The mains lead of the appliance is fitted with a BS1363 approved plug containing a 5A fuse. If it ever becomes necessary to replace the fuse, only use a BS1362 approved fuse of the same rated value. If in doubt contact a qualified electrician. DISPOSAL In order to minimise hazards to health and the environment and ensure that materials can be recycled, this product should be disposed of at a separate collection facility for waste electrical and electronic equipment.
