M1s COFFEE MACHINE – CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS DAILY CLEANING YOU WILL NEED: •Disposable gloves •Eye protection •Cleaning Tablet •Cleaning brush Each cleaning cycle will take 15minutes. Cleaning must be carried out at least once a day. 1 2 Bean Hopper TOTAL CLEANING TIME: 3 4 Tablet Inlet Cleaning buttons under front flap Display Coffee Cleaning Button Power Switch under drip tray Steam Arm Dispense Head IMPORTANT: STEAM WANDS MUST NEVER BE LEFT SOAKING IN WATER OR MILK! Drip Tray The machine should not be left unattended at any time during the cleaning process as this could cause a safety hazard. Slide open tablet inlet and insert one Ecocleaner Tablet CLOSE THE TABLET INLET 6 5 Lower the dispense head and lift up the drip tray grille to protect from the hot water and chemical cleaning cycle. 7 Lift the front flap to display cleaning buttons. Press and hold the coffee cleaning button for 3-4 seconds until ‘Group Washing’ appears on the display 8 8 mins Always wear protective gloves and eye protection when dealing with chemicals Ensure a cleaning sign is displayed on coffee machine during the cleaning cycle 15mins Hot cleaning fluid will flow from the dispense head. Wash cycle takes about 8 minutes. Wait until it finishes Warning: water will be very hot! 9 Steam wands must be wiped with a damp cloth after every use. 10 If the Steam wands become excessively dirty saturate some paper towel with a food safe sanitizer and wrap around the steam wand for 10 minutes 11 Wipe the wand with the paper towel and most of the dried milk should be removed. Brush any remaining debris away with a nylon brush. DO NOT use a metal knife or scissors. 12 Coffee cannot be served once the cleaning cycle has started .
