1. Software Installation Get the software package, click “HSPA USB Modem_installation.exe” to install the Software.
A new icon
will appear on the computer desktop once it finish the installation.
2. Modem Setup Insert the SIM Card into the Modem’s SIM Card Slot. Connect the M300u modem to the computer via USB cable. The computer will automatically find the hardware and install the driver for the M300u.
3. Internet Connection
Double‐click on the icon
and then click “Setting Button”
Setting
(Setting Button), Select “Connection Profile…”, it will pop‐up menu as Figure 2.

Click “Add” to add new APN, it will pop‐up Figure 3.

If select “New profile”, it will pop‐up the following Figure 4.
Figure 4 Please fill in the information parameter (This information parameter is from Network Provider), and save it. If select “Choose from predefined list”, please select the existed APN setting. After APN setting is finished, please “Set Default” the Connection Profile Name. Then there will be a click marked. Click “OK” to save parameter.

Double‐click on the icon like following marked in red circle to connect the network.
After APN setting, click here to connect internet

5. Notes Please be noted all internet connection and SMS messenger requires the following: A. The sim card supports internet business B. The sim card supports sms business. C. There is signal for the M300u modem. Please see the examples as below.
It shows China Mobile net work provider. And it shows there is signal for the M300u modem. Now the signal bar is two levels.
