The metallic cartridge shield is disconnected from the r ~ g h tchannel ground by the remov CAUTION: D o not make solder connection to cartridge terminals STYLUS REPLACEMENT (see Figure 2): Grasp molded housing of stylus and gently pull forward out o f cartridge. Insert replacement stylus into socket and press until h o u s ~ n gmates with cartridge case. MOUNTING 112.7 mm (1/2 in.) mounting centers]: Mounting screws are provided. 1. Remove stylus guard and stylus (see Stylus Replacement). 2. Connect leads to cartridge (see Figure 1). 3. Lay cartridge in shell and align mounting holes on side o f cartridge w i t h holes o r threads In shell. Follow turntable manufacturer's instruct~onsto mount cartridge i n tone arm o r plug-in shell. 4. Correct improper set-down adlustment or malfunction of the turntable changlng rnechanlsm to prevent the stylus from striking the edge of the turntable or record D o not stack more records than turntable manufacturer recommends. 5. Take care to properly insert the stylus into the cartrldge assembly and the cartridge and shell assembly into the tone arm receptacle. 6. Use proper vertical tracklng torce settlng for each cartrldge. 7. D o not use badly warped, cracked or imperiect records. 8. When dustlng the turntable protect the stylus wlth the ctylus guard.
