The MA18000 Series antennas are designed for use in the 18 GHz microwave communication band of 17.7-19.7 GHz and are part of our 18 GHz Express family of products. The MA18000 antennas offer a variety of features that make them ideal for professional microwave distribution systems. These antennas provide industry standard gain and meet EIA standards (EIA-195-C and EIA-222-E). All antennas can withstand 125 mph (200 km/h) winds and 1” (25 mm) ice without sustaining damage. The MA18000 antennas utilize aluminum formed parabolas with watertight pressurize-able feeds. The MA1873 is a 73 MHz crystal controlled ❍ Specifications oscillator used in conjunction with the TX18000 Series 18 GHz transmitters. The Electrical Frequency: 72.93548 (±0.0003%) MHz MA1873 provides a common reference to frequency lock multiple co-located Output to Transmitters: 66 (±1) dBmV transmitters to avoid potential cross-talk Master Output to Slave: 57 (±1) dBmV interferences. Microwave systems with up Output Level Adjust: +1 / -10 dB to four transmitters require one Master Impedance: 75 ohm Reference Oscillator (MA1873-REF4). A Mechanical Reference Slave unit (MA1873-SLV4) can Dimensions: be added to increase the capability to eight 19 W x 1-3/4 W x 15 D inches transmitters. A -20 dB test port on the front Shipping Weight: 8 lbs. panel permits testing without removing or Connections: Input, Output & Test “F” Type disconnecting any equipment. The MISS Microwave Integrated Splitter System allows for the sturdy outdoor installation of our 18 GHz waveguide and elliptical components. It is designed to split signals from the transmitter, power amplifier or repeater to drive multiple antennas in the network. The MISS is a low cost system which is available in four pre-designed and pre-assembled configurations. Splitter networks are swept and labeled with input and output signal levels and tested to the system specifications by Blonder Tongue Laboratories microwave engineers. The MISS can also be custom ordered for other configurations. The MISS is built with a heavy duty aluminum base plate and long-lasting treated aluminum mounting hardware to secure any available waveguide components from Blonder Tongue. The entire system is completely weatherproof and is designed to be installed outdoors with no degradation in performance. ❍ Ordering Information Model
