If your camera features an HDMI output, plug HDMI cable into your HDMI to SDI converter… …And finally connect your SDI cable to the converter. 4 Next, connect one end of the BNC cable into the “SDI out” port on the converter box, and the other end of the BNC cable to the 3G DIN cable….. …Then plug the opposite end of the 3G DIN to cord into the 2nd port from the bottom. This is the port that corresponds to the ‘camera A’ in the Production Truck. Follow the same steps for every other camera plugging the 3G DIN to cord into every other port on the Decklink quad. 5 Finally, plug one end of the thunderbolt cable into the bottom thunderbolt jack in the enclosure device…. …And the other into the thunderbolt port on the computer. Once the cameras are set up, open the software, right click on the ‘camera A’ preview box and select ‘decklink (1)’. The preview will now show the video projected from the first camera. To complete the 4 camera setup, follow the same steps for the same for the remaining 3 cameras. 6 PLEASE NOTE: For video, you will need to select your device and type of input from System Preferences on your machine Find the System Preferences icon at the bottom of your screen Then locate “Blackmagic Design” in the menu 7 Once selected, you can select the proper “Set input.” This is determined by what input you are plugged in to on the Blackmagic Device and then close If needed, these can be changed via the drop down menu.
