This has virtually eliminated harmonics, which was previously a frequent cause of problems. 2 The strong, compact structure of our vibratory equipment is fabricated in quality certified steel using an advanced electro welding process. For greater reliability, the structure is normalised through heat treatment followed by sandblasting and painting, performed using the best possible protection and the most up-to-date anti-pollution techniques. 3 The monolithic tank, without a sump or screws, is lined with a thick layer of scratch-proof, oil-proof and anti-stick polyurethane. Lower outlet to enable rapid replacement of inserts, with block-proof polyurethane plug. Ball valve for water drain; connection for second drain with manual or automatic valve. Manifold with capillary holes for washing and rinsing finished product. 4 The flat groove is the primary condition for obtaining an optimum finish and an improved production output. The new SM and SP series of vibratory machines delivers the highest standard of technology to the ever growing demands of the surface finishing industry. In order to control costs as well as maintain high quality standards in their finishing departments, an increasing number of companies have adopted vibratory finishing to fulfill their specialised requirements. The SM and SP series of vibrators are the result of the most technologically advanced machining and construction techniques. They allow modular automatic “work stations” to be created, enabling the most complex process cycles to be completed in the most rational manner (see the station on the cover). 5 Separation of parts from media is accomplished automatically, using either magnetic extractors (see accessories on page 10) or a pneumatic unloader or by component surfacing. 6 Moto-Vibrator : The "heart" of the machine is well oversized and requires no scheduled maintenance or regular greasing. 7 Vibration control, thanks to the most versatile and universal system allows the choice of either manual or automatic operation for rapid and perfect results. 8 Three-dimensional balancing and adjustment of the machine delivers continuous and correct adherence of the abrasive inserts to the pieces being processed, preventing harsh movements which cause pitting and hardening of the surfaces. They are also designed for large items that require high quality such as faucets, handles, household articles, etc., and special processes such as: – Steel (gears, trinkets, tools, etc.) – Stainless steel (houseware, cutlery, bearing parts, food industry components) – Aluminium (pressed or die-cast) – Alpaca (pump bodies, cycle components, electronic parts, spectacles, etc.) – Brass (taps, handles, metal trinkets, etc.) – Zamak (casting, die casting) The machines are used in particular for deburring, smoothing, polishing and matte finishing of pieces, with maximum dimensions and weights as reported in the table of page 11, using ureic, plastic, ceramic, wooden chips and corn sawdust. They can be used together with SM and SP Series vibrators. Steel or PVC separation grids with light between holes and the diameter of the holes upon requests. There are two types of separation. SAS (Simple): drilled plastic grid and SAD (Double): grids of painted or plastic-coated metal rolls. The grids provide a large separation area. The covers have manual/automatic opening and closing, thanks to which the noise levels are contained. For overall dimensions, refer to the table on page 11. In semi-automatic plants, the clarification of the water is obtained by adding a de-emulsifying-adsorbent product that causes the formation of flocculi which adsorb the major part of impurities in the water. The purifying process is based on the clarification of the water via flocculation and decantation process. All the treatments produce waste sludge which is of the palpable and stabilised type and must be disposed of as "special waste". In the first solution (DEC2N) the cycle is manual and discontinuous with control panel with motor protection device.
