 Getting
your
Mac
to
work
with
the
LCD
projectors/displays
at
OC
 Make
sure
you
have
the
correct
adapter.
OC
projectors
and
LCD
displays
use
the
 VGA
connector.
Various
Macs
use
various
connectors
–
DVI,
mini‐DVI,
micro‐DVI,
 miniDisplayPort.
You
need
the
version
that
converts
the
port
on
your
computer
to
 the
VGA
cable
that
connects
to
the
projector
or
display.
 By
default
some
Macs
(like
the
MacBookPro)
treat
the
2nd
display
as
an
extended
 desktop.
You
don’t
get
any
icons
or
applications
–
just
the
background.
 Here’s
how
to
make
your
display
mirror:
 Open
System
Preferences
 Click
on
Displays
 In
the
Arrangement
tab
click
on
Mirror
Displays
(bottom
left).
 
 
 Things
to
know
about
Samsung
52”
LCD
displays
 Sometimes
what
shows
up
on
the
display
isn’t
very
pretty.

The
image
may
be
off‐ centre,
or
distorted.
Try
this:
 Press
the
Menu
button
on
the
display.

It
should
default
to
Picture
and
Mode.
 Press
the
+
sign
to
enter
the
Picture
Mode.
 Press
the
down
arrow
to
get
to
Auto
Adjustment.

 Press
the
+
sign
to
activate
Auto
Adjustment.
Wait
a
moment
and
the
display
will
 adapt
to
whatever
signal
is
coming
from
your
computer.
