Avid Maestro Release Notes Version 7.3
What is new in Version 7.3 Maestro graphics in MediaCentral |UX sequence editor Starting with MediaCentral UX v2.10, Maestro graphics added to an iNEWS story are shown in an associated MediaCentral |UX script sequence.
Ticker Support The Maestro pane within MediaCentral |UX can now support Ticker items.
Item Support In MediaCentral |UX, a Maestro page can now be saved as an Item.
Maestro Monitor Maestro Monitor is now a Windows Service application, which allows continuous monitoring of all Maestro services.
Authentication using the Avid MediaCentral Platform login details It is now possible to login to Maestro Controller using MediaCentral |UX login details.
Import of Active Directory users into Maestro Administrator A system administrator can now configure Maestro to import users and groups from Windows Active Directory, including the information about users attached to each group.
What is new in Version 7.3
Automatic cue of next item in the rundown New options: Cue next Video item and Cue next Gfx item have been added to the Play section of the Preferences.
Cue previous and cue next button in the VEDeck window In the VEDeck window, it is now possible to cue the previous or next video item in a particular channel.
Drag and drop of media into the VEDeck The option to drag clips (from the File System, VE database, Interplay |MAM or Interplay |Production) directly into the VEDeck window has been added.
New GPI actions The following GPI extensions have been added to the list of existing actions: -
Start / Pause / Resume / Stop scheduling of an active rundown.

The preview button now displays as inactive if render duration=0.

The option preventing TC In/Out and VSlots section from collapsing between page switch / editor actions has been added.

The saveItem/openItem function in avid.maestro.asset service has been added to Maestro UX.
