The Makem Brothers are a five-piece Irish acoustic folk music act. Their lighting requirements are simple, but a solid combination of washes and spots will assure a quality presentation. The board should consist of at least twelve channels with dimmers that can handle 2.4k or greater. The washes are created with par cans - 56’s or 64’s. These can be substituted with wide focus Fresnels if unavailable. At least one knowledgeable operator shall attend sound check and operate system during show. The spots or spotlights may be substituted with source 4’s depending on the venue. The washes require as many instruments as it takes to cover the stage evenly. Although the plot shows Rosco colors any Lee or Gam equivalents may be used. The brothers stand in a straight line downstage (stage right to stage left accordingly).
