Malmö Fäktklubb invites you to our annual tournament Malmö Open April 8th - 9th 2017 Foil and Épée Individual tournaments The tournament is one of the competitions the Swedish ranking series but it will be open for all fencers of the right age group Venue Baltiska Hallen, Eric Perssons väg, Malmö. Map info see last page . Times and classes Friday April 7th Equipment control is open between 18:00–20:00 in the tournament hall. Saturday April 8th– Individual competitions Registration and equipment control opens at 07:15. We expect that the tournament will start within half an hour after the last registration of your class. Please note blade size stipulations. (A fencer is allowed to compete in a class older than him/herself.) Referees will meet at 08:00. Head Referee is our Fencing Master : Orvar Jönsson FIE-rules and SvFF – tournament rules of July 1st 2016 including security regulations. The mask must have the new type of bib for foil fencing. Formula The competitions rules and regulations are based on FIE REG., SvFF TB and the Swedish Masters ruling book - http://www.fencing.se/om-faktning/tavlingar/tavlingsbestammelser/ Poule systems depending on the number of fencers and then direct elimination. Entry fee 15 Euro or 150 SEK per capita or by double start 25 Euro or 250 SEK, which can be paid at the registration in the hall. We must have them by March 29th at the very latest. Later entries will be accepted, if possible, and in that case the fee will however be doubled. Weapon and security control Please note that the metal vest and mask must be checked and will be given an approval mark. This control is open Friday from 18:00 to 20:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 7:15 in the hall. Due to SvFF competition rules additional inspections will be conducted by the referee on the piste. A penalty of SEK 1500 or Euro 150 must be paid for each referee, a club cannot present in accordance with the stipulations above. Any fines must be paid before the tournament of the day begins. Please send the name/s of the referee/s, competence (e.g. FIE) and weapon together with your Ophardt online entry.
