Organization Chart REFER APPENDIX I for the Institute‟s Organization Structure 10 Student Feedback Mechanism on Institutional Governance/ Faculty Performance - Yes The Director of the Institute, the Chairperson of PG Programmes, Academic coordinator/s and respective faculty members regularly meet students so as to take stock of the inputs delivered as well as to review the developments and arrive at decisions on academic issues. They keep themselves updated about students‟ concerns or problems so as to resolve the same at the earliest. Students provide periodic term-end feedback on respective courses and faculty. Students‟ suggestions are part of the feedback mechanism. With a strong belief in incorporating innovative practices for delivering enriching learning experiences the inputs received from students are given substantial consideration in academic matters as well as in providing necessary infrastructure needed for their overall development.

: Institute undertakes various projects for central and state government departments and other developmental organizations and is also involved in setting up National Entrepreneurship Development Centers in various South-East Asian and African Countries through the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India. Faculty Members are also allowed to take up limited consultancy assignments.
Grants fetched
: The Institute does not receive any grant from government /institutes/organizations for any of its PGDM courses. However, it receives Grant-in-Aid for various projects, including training, research and consultancy. It also received grant from AICTE for Innovation Promotion Scheme (IPS) under AICTE Quality Improvement Schemes (AQIS) (vide AICTE Sanction Order F.No.259/RFID/IPS/POLICY-1/2013-14 dated 25.07.2013 for release of grant money Rs. 1,50,000).

17 Academic Sessions PGDM-BE & PGDM-DS programmes are spread over 6 trimesters. The students undergo an eight week Summer Internship Training at the end of the first year. PGDM (Executive) is a 15 month duration programme spread over 4 trimesters; the fourth trimester would involve field work. Examination System: The Institute follows Trimester system for conduct of examination. For all 3 credit courses, in addition to the end term examinations, mid-term examinations are also conducted. Period of declaration of results: The results are declared within 30 days of the conduct of the examination 18 Counseling / Mentoring

In addition to its Placement Cell services, the Institute regularly arranges interactions and lectures on business and career opportunities. 19 Students Activity Body Cultural activities, Sports activities, Literary activities, Technical activities / TechFest/ Workshops, Guest Lectures, Industrial Visits, Live Projects/ Start-up Fair The Institute offers its students a wide range of high-quality sports and cultural activities which completes and enhances the student‟s academic experience. Institute‟s students are involved in many extracurricular activities and organize literary, b-plans, cultural and sports events. They also participate in the industry seminars and exhibitions. Empresario-2014 With an aim to bring innovation in small and medium enterprises and to stimulate 29
small entrepreneurs to think creatively and out of the box, the Institute, under the aegis of Innovation Promotion Scheme (IPS) offered through AICTE Quality Improvement Schemes, organized Empresario 2014, a two day entrepreneurial event at EDI Campus. Empresario 2014 was held on 7 and 8 March, 2014 and it connected entrepreneurs (start-ups and innovators) with Venture Capitalists, Angel Investors, Bankers, Industry Professionals and visitors. Environmental Club: As a complement to their coursework, EDI students get involved in clubs and community service. They have initiated a group called SEED"Students for Environment at EDI" which aims at bringing people closer to nature. Equipo Students also organize annual inter college sports meet 'Equipo' every year. Various events like basketball; football match are organized in the campus where students from other professional colleges also participate. Social Activities EDI aims at being an institution which creates a cadre of creative, problem solving individuals, who are capable of leading people in the rapidly changing world as well as contribute to social development. It seeks to inspire, empower and enable students to develop sensitivity towards social values so that they can aid organizations addressing critical social issues. Blood Donation Camp EDI students organized a blood donation camp in association with various blood banks, where students as well as faculty and staff had participated with full zest.
