Quick Installation Guide SL-204-DDL 2 Port Dual-Link Quad Monitor KVM Switch – Dual Link DVI/USB & Audio The SL-204-DDL features Active Sync Replication™ (A.S.R.) technology that offers full-time DDC (Display Data Channel) emulation for 100% video compatibility with all types of Operating Systems including Windows 7 and Windows 8 that require more critical DDC communication. INSTALLATION SL-204-DDL 2 Port Dual Link DVI Quad Monitor KVM Switch – Dual Link DVI-I/USB & Audio Quick Installation Guide 1. Power up your KVM Switch by connecting the external power adapter to it. 2. Connect the shared USB keyboard, USB mouse, dual monitors, speaker/headphone and microphone to corresponding ports on the console section of the KVM Switch. OPERATION You can select which computer to connect to via either the front panel push buttons or keyboard hotkeys. (1) Front Panel Push Buttons The front panel push buttons allow you direct control over the KVM switching operation. Simply press the button to switch to the either corresponding PC port. (2) Keyboard Hotkeys For keyboard hotkey commands, please refer to the “Quick Reference Sheet”. Note: The lower two USB ports are for keyboard and mouse and the upper two USB hub ports are for connected optional USB devices SL-204-DDL – Rear View INTRODUCTION The SL-204-DDL Dual Link Quad Monitor DVI USB KVM switch features not only 3D display support but digital video (2560 x 1600) and analog video (2048 x 1536) support for your maximum convenience in adapting to your display requirements as well. 3. Connect each KVM PC port to a computer, using two DVI video cables (male to male), one USB cable (type A to type B) and one audio & mic combo cable (male to male). 4. Connect up to two optional USB devices (USB flash drive, HDD or CD/DVD/Blu-ray) to the USB hub ports to share between connected computers. You can now begin to use the KVM switch. With the TTU (True Transparent USB) Emulation Technology, the SL-204-DDL Quad monitor DVI USB KVM switch offers 100% compatibility with all and any types of advanced USB keyboards and mice.
