The Waypoint Series carries like Osprey’s best backcountry backpacks without compromising the features needed for travel convenience. Gender specific harnesses give each Waypoint a customizable fit. The Waypoint Day is a full featured, Zip & Clip detachable daypack that is ideal for a day-long jaunt or as a carry-on companion.

However, some basic procedures will ensure that your pack holds up optimally. • • • •
After each trip be sure to clean out your pack thoroughly. If it’s wet, hang it to dry. Loosen all the straps. Wash your pack every now and then. (Do not immerse travel packs with our High Road™ Wheeled Chassis.)

Waypoint Suspension A peripheral LightWire™ alloy frame, ridge-molded foam AirScape™ backpanel, torso adjustable gender specific harness and a built-in ErgoPull™ hipbelt provide the suspension and carry of a technical backcountry backpack.
Carry Handles Padded top and side carry handles provide comfortable, easy carry options.
Zip & Clip Removable Daypack Unclip the four buckles securing the Waypoint Day to the main pack body and pull the red zipper pull to fully detach daypack. Tuck the attachment clips behind the padded front panel for added protection. The attachment clips on the main pack body form a StraightJacket™ style compression system when the daypack is disengaged.

Waypoint 85: Dual Compartments Dual zippered sleeping bag compartment with sewn-in divider provides two compartment accessibility.

Farpoint Suspension A peripheral LightWire™ alloy frame, a spacer-mesh backpanel, fixed unisex harness and a built in Farpoint 3/4 length ErgoPull™ hipbelt provide comfortable carry.
The Farpoint Day comes standard on the 70 and 55 liter models and is a nicely featured detachable daypack that works just as well attached to the Farpoint as it does on its own. Waypoint 85: Top Slash Pocket Zippered top slash pocket for easy access to essentials.
ErgoPull™ Hipbelt All Waypoint and Farpoint pack hipbelts use our exclusive ErgoPull™ design. To operate the ErgoPull,™ loosen the webbing enough so you can connect the center buckle. Then grasp the loose ends of the webbing on either side, and pull in and across evenly with both hands at the same time.

Zip-Away Removable Daypack (70, 55 L Only) Unclip the two, StraightJacket™ style compression straps securing the Farpoint Day to the main pack body and pull the red zipper pull to fully detach daypack. The dual, main body compression straps form a StraightJacket™ style compression system when the daypack is disengaged. The Farpoint Day conveniently attaches to the main harness of the Farpoint pack to provide easy access to photo gear and essentials. To engage, A remove daypack by undoing the two StraightJacket™ style compression straps and unzipping from main Farpoint using red zipper pull. B Leaving harness tucked in, locate the two male buckles sewn in to the top backpanel of the Farpoint Day and remove from slots. C Clip male buckles on backpanel of Farpoint Day into female buckles located on the harness of the Farpoint pack. Reverse the steps to remove/reinstall to main Farpoint.
The Farpoint 40 is a full featured, streamlined adventure travel pack in a compact size that ensures carry-on compliance on most any flight. Unique Features Front Panel Pocket Each Farpoint 40 features a large, dual lockable zippered front panel pocket with internal organization featuring a padded laptop sleeve accepting laptops to 15.4”/39CM, a padded eReader/tablet pocket and additional open space for often accessed, smaller items.

C Removable Shoulder Strap Included with each Farpoint 40 is an optional nylon shoulder strap. Clip this to the attachment tabs on the pack for additional easy carry options.
