Manual Set up of GPRS Settings Sony Ericsson T630 The below process outlines the steps to manually setup an Sony Ericsson T630 for use with Optus ‘Yes Info WAP Plus’ (WAP over GPRS). The Sony Ericsson T630 Handset can also be provisioned by an OTAP (Over the Air Provisioning) message that can be sent by Optus to the phone. The T630 comes Pre-provisioned for WAP, Internet & MMS Process 1 Manual Handset Settings Description 1. From main screen select Internet Services icon top centre of screen & press Select 2. Press More button on right 3. Highlight yesWAP & press Select 4. The phone will now connect to YesInfo WAP homepage: 5. Highlight Connectivity icon lower left and press Select 6. Highlight Data comm. & press Select 7. Highlight Data accounts & press Select 8. Highlight New account & press ADD 9. OR highlight existing acct to edit & press Select 10. Highlight GPRS data press Select 11. Enter an account name eg GPRSwap & press Select 12. At APN field press Edit 13. Enter wap.optus.net.au & press Save (all other fields can be left blank) 14. Enter an account name eg yesWAP& press OK 21. At Connect using press Edit 22. Select GPRSwap & press Select 23. Enter the IP Address 202.139.083.152 & press OK 24. Highlight Advanced & press Select 25. Highlight Change homepage & press Select 26. Delete any text & enter a label name eg. yesWAP & press Select 27. Delete any text & enter http://networker.optus.net.au/wap/index.wml - press OK 28. Press & hold back button to return to main screen 2 To Launch GPRS 1.
