Manual Set up of MMS Settings Nokia 3200 The following details how to set up the Nokia 3200 to send and receive Multimedia Messages. Process 1 Setting up your phone for MMS Description 1. Press the [Menu] button 2. Scroll to Messages and press the [Select] button 3. Scroll to Message Settings and press the [Select] button 4. Scroll to Multimedia msgs. and press the [Select] button 5. Scroll to Connection Settings and press the [Select] button 6. Scroll to Active Multimedia Settings and press the [Select] button 7. Scroll to Optus MMS, press Activate 8. Press the [Red Handset] button (the hang-up button) to return to the main screen. 2 Requesting an OTAP 1. Press the [Menu] button 2. Scroll to Messages and press the [Select] button 3. Scroll to Text Messages and press the [Select] button 4. Scroll to Create Message and press the [Select] button 5. Enter the number 8888 and press the [OK] button 7. This will send an SMS. Now wait. 8. An SMS should now be received titled ‘Multimedia Settings’ received 9. Press Options, scroll to Save and press the [Select] button 10. When prompted Activate saved multimedia settings?, press Yes. 11. If you are prompted with Memory full. Replace set? Press the [OK] button followed by [Select] and then [OK] The customer should now be able to send and receive Multimedia messages. 3 Entering Manual Settings 1. Press Menu 2. Scroll to Messages and press the [Select] button 3. Scroll to Message Settings and press the [Select] button 4. Scroll to Multimedia msgs and press the [Select] button 5. Scroll to Connection Settings and press the [Select] button 6. Scroll to Edit Active Multi-Media Settings and press the [Select] button 7. Scroll to Settings Name and press the [Select] button 8. Enter Optus MMS and press the [OK] button 9. Scroll to Homepage and press the [Select] button 10. Enter http://mmsc.optus.com.au:8002/ and press the [OK] button 11. Scroll to Session Mode and press the [Select] button 12. Scroll to Permanent and press the [Select] button 13. Scroll to Data Bearer and press the [Select] button 14. Scroll to GPRS Access Point and press the [Select] button 17. Enter mms and press the [Select] button 18. Scroll to IP address and press the [Select] button 19. Enter the IP Address 61.88.190.10 and press the [Select] button 20. Scroll to Authentication Type and press the [Select] button 21. Scroll to Normal and press the [Select] button 22. Press Back twice 23. Scroll to Active Multimedia settings and press the [Select] button 24. Scroll to Optus MMS and press Activate 25.
