Important Safe guards
l Before using the Liquidising / Grinder jar,

This could be due to overloading. The over load Protector (OLP) has been provided to trip the motor when overloaded. In case of tripping, follow the instruction given on page No.4.
l Keep the Juice extractor away from heat and sunlight.
l The Juice extractor operates at optimum efficiency at the specified voltage. Wide variation in voltage may affect the performance of the Juice extractor.
l Since the blades are quite sharp, be careful while removing them.
l The motor is rated for 10minutes continuous operation. Do not use it for more than the specified time.
l Never use hot water to clean the Juice extractor
l Clean oil traces inside the jar before first use.

l Do not run the Juice extractor without load. l Chop the ingredient small enough to fit through the opening, for juicing operation.

How to use the juicer

Place juicer mesh into the housing and push it

down slightly so that it fits and locked properly on the coupler of the motor housing. Rotate the mesh a little to see that it fits properly. (Fig. 6)

Place juicer housing on the motor housing. Place spout cover in position. (Fig. 5)

Wash and cut fruits / ingredients to fit in feeder opening.
The motor of the Juice extractor is protected by a resetting type Over Load Protector (OLP).

Plug in Push the switch button ( ). Push ingredients into the feeder with the help of the plunger (Fig. 8)

Caution : Do not use fruits such as Bananas & Peaches which produce a thick paste that can clog the filter mesh. Fig. 9

At the end of the operation, switch off the Juice extractorand unplug.
Care & Cleaning Cleaning of Juicer :
l To clean Juicer mesh, hold it below running tap water.
l Move brush up & down across the juicer Juice extractor
Remove pump from the pulp container whenever it is full. Stop machine before removing pulp container. (Fig. 9)
In case of overloading, the OLP disconnects the power supply to the motor, In such an eventuality, switch off the supply. Remove the excess the load or add water to the ingredients, if the recipe so Fig. 4 permits. Wait for a few minutes. Reset the OLP located below the base plate and restart the mixer. (Fig. 4) ET

Motor over load protection The Juice extractor is fitted with a heavy duty universal motor using a winding wire that can withstand extremes of temperatures. Therefore, the chances of motor failure are extremely rare. It is however possible that the mixer motor may get overloaded when you attempt to grind quantities in excess.
l Do not wash the base unit or immerse it in water as it could cause electrical hazards. Wipe the base unit clean with a damp cloth to remove stains, if any and then Wipe with a dry cloth to keep the base unit dry and clean.
