The EPM3 tester provides three functions in one unit, including open phase, phase sequence and motor rotation indication. Using simple go/no-go test results, the user can quickly see results. The EPM3 is two measurement devices in one. One half measures the phase sequence of a 3-wire system using the power of the system under test. Using lamp indicators, it will indicate the 3-phase sequence or an open phase situation. The other half of the EPM3 measures 3-phase motor rotation on an unpowered motor using the EPM3’s internal 9 volt battery. The unit will indicate whether the motorshaft has clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation. The EPM3 is rated and tested to CAT III 600 V standards for all test features.
