Park Rules Please read the following park rules carefully. They will be strictly enforced. Our playing fields are run by the City so we need to pay close attention to their rules to ensure we will have fields to play on for the season.
Pets: Pets are not allowed at the park. Please make plans to keep your pets at home or we will have to ask you and your pet to leave.
Beverages: Alcoholic beverage containers are not allowed at the
park at any time, this includes the fields & parking lots. No glass containers or bottles of any kind are allowed on the fields. Coolers, Funnels, Kegs and Party Balls or anything that seems fun are not allowed on the fields. You are required to keep all beverages in bubba kegs, thermos bottles, solo cups, or anything that cannot be seen through. Clear colored or see through cups are not allowed, please purchase solid colored solo cups. Anyone in violation of the beverage policy will be asked to leave the premises and may be suspended for the remainder of the season. Please do not be the guy/gal walking in with a case of beer wrapped in a plastic bag or something. That is NOT ok.
Other Activities: Due to general safety and liability reasons; no
other sports may be played at a WAKA permitted field just prior to or during the games. That means no tossing a football around or kicking a soccer ball etc.

near our fields. That includes Sparklers, Flame throwers, Molotov Cocktails and anything else you can think of.
Trash: All trash must be picked up before you leave the field. Trash Rest Rooms: Carver Park has one restroom at the front of the
field, use it. Do not use the caveman method and do your business in bushes or even worse in the open. You may get a ticket and we may lose the permit to use the park!
Parking: Park only in marked spaces or areas designated by the park. Parking on roads, on the curb, or on the sidewalk in unmarked spots may result in a parking ticket.

Pitches Be Crazy
Kick Tease - First of all a big thanks to Eric’s mom
- The PBC had a great all
around day starting with the game and ending at the bar. Balls and dolls were terrific sports, but in the end its ass was prime for a spanking, and PBC provided the paddle! This game was won with stout defense, aggressive base running, and men wearing female hot pants. The new additions to the team are playing well (big props to our 2 new pitchers that have been dominate in the first 2 games), but our Goat of the Week goes to Mr. Pink Pants himself. He talked a big game, but his .0001 fielding percentage currently leaves something to be desired. We plan to keep our momentum up next week with the spirited trash talk and jello-stained faces everyone has come to expect from PBC. If we could only get the neighborhood kids to stop asking for our jello........
Balls & Dolls - Things probably would’ve looked a
bit brutal if we weren’t wearing our beer goggles. manage to get into the kick of things a few innings into the game. Regardless good times were had as pink and rainbow shorts streaked by!
for providing Kick Tease with a Subway tailgate, WAKA backpacks and water bottles! We always seem to have heated, intense games with the Foot Clan and this game didn’t prove to be any different. All runs from both teams were scored in the first inning and we played tough defense the rest of the game to keep the Foot Clan off of home plate. Two great catches by Barry in the outfield and Amanda at second and runs scored by Bernie and Joe. We redeemed ourselves at the bar by winning on the flip cup table and shutting the place down.
The Foot Clan - The Foot Clan won 3-2 this week
against Kick Tease. If you are a fan of offensive kickball, you should’ve stopped watching this game after the first inning. The Foot’s defense stepped up the next 5 innings and managed to secure the win. The Foot Clan player of the week is Amy for her stellar catch in the outfield and then threw out the lead runner for a double play. Her great defensive performance earned her the coveted “DP Award.” The DP stands for double play. Get your heads out of the gutter,
Liver Let Die 0 KaiMotion 7 Kaimotion - Team could not be reached for comment Liver Let Die - Liver Let Die was up against the
defending champs this week so they decided to selfmedicate with some delicious pre-game jell-o shots. In retrospect, those tasty treats may have accounted for some of the numerous face-plants that plagued LLD all night. The first inning was a bit painful as Kaimotion players got around the bases for 4 early runs...but perhaps that wasn’t as painful as being the first Kaimotion player to get an out that inning (oh, the pain of a bruised ego!). LLD tried to put up a fight but they were missing several strong guys and couldn’t get back in it. Still, LLD’s defense held Kaimotion to just 3 more runs the rest of the game. Despite another bitter loss on the field, Liver Let Die once again dominated the flip cup tables after the game!
Rubber Busters 2 Big Swinging Kicks 3 RB - Team could not be reached for comment Big Swinging Kicks - As promised, BSK came
to play in Game 2 against a very talented RB team. The game got off to a rough start, as we quickly let them jump on the scoreboard, after realizing we’d be playing the whole game with 11 ½ players (Kudos to Swan for toughing it out on a bad ankle.) Conditioning was a major concern, seeing as most of our team had never gone through the grueling task of playing a full 6 innings of kickball with no rest. After showing signs of initial fatigue, the team cranked the jukebox even higher and was able to channel the struggles of Notorious B.I.G. & emotions of Juvenile, to stage a late inning comeback. With 2 outs and 2 on, BSK launched a kick off the Green Monster in left field to jump into the lead 3-2. Pitcher Jack Dellecker was able to keep his defense focused and close out the remaining 6 outs to secure the first win of the season. Notable performances go to Max Dore for heads up base running for the team’s first run; Ashley Rogover’s concentration on a ricochet catch despite having the ball first hit her (detaching her sunglasses from her face); and Joey Markham’s clutch fill-in performance at catcher. Great job by the whole team, and look for an even stronger performance this Thursday. The offense is just
beginning to click, which is BAD news for the rest of the league. Note to those not mentioned in the write-up: Try doing something cool next time.
Ballbusters 1 Keep Your Pitch on a Leash 7 Ballbusters–Team could not be reached for comment KYOAL - This game started off different for the Keep Your
Pitch On A Leashers... prepared, meaner, and definitely drunker! We took an early lead scoring 2 runs in the first inning, then added another run in the second inning. MVP of KYPOAL Stephanie Douglass would not be denied, scoring on both of her plate appearances, making tough catches at shortstop, and even running opposing team members over at the bases. Steve Putnam told me to mention him in the recap for something good that he did for the team, but I got drunk and forgot what it was. Megan THE SHERMANATOR Sherman was a magnet for balls in the bottom of the 5th when she took a hard shot to the leg, but drove 2 runs home in the effort. Even Miguel, who usually saves all his energy for the after party did some base running. Near the end of the game, the tensions were high and the curse words were flying... but mostly from the Ref. The Ballbusters rose above their differences with the Ref and scored a run in the top of the 6th. When all was said and done, KYPOAL walked away with their first win of many to come. Titties!
Homeplate Hustlers 13 Kickbutkus 1 HOMEPLATE HUSTLERS – Everyday we hustle.
We’ll start with giving Tom Greene some props for his inside the park homerun. We then will move on to the out of the park homerun hit by David Carver at Carver Park. Wow! That wasn’t it though, the offense was just outstanding, it was like nothing could stop us this week. After dominating on the field, we then walked in to our team anthem at Iguanas and proceeded to get it on the Flip Cup table. We hope to use this momentum to fuel another win against Kaimotion
KICKBUTKUS - At least we didn’t get shut out
1
Kaimotion
Hosted the only shut out event this week vs LLD. Heard rumors of them finishing out their evening bowling it up! Seems like this team is on the road to finish up a lot like last year. Will anyone slow them down? Big test this week against the Hustlers.

Had a slow start but a strong finish last week. Two homeruns were recorded (One out of ber taking their shirt off at Iguanas. Let’s hope the park and one in the park) as they cruised to they can keep those shirts on moving forward. victory over Kickbutkus. How hot are they? Heat check this week against Kaimotion. Will they pull the upset? Suffered a loss to BSK that has dropped them in the GMOT rankings. The kickball world is shocked, rubber busters are shocked, and we Held off Kick Tease in a serious battle wouldn’t be surprised if BSK is also shocked. This and emerged victorious. Foot Clan is off to a will probably serve as an eye opener for the Bustgreat 2-0 start, can they get to 3-0 this week? ers who will get things together and finish strong. We shall see! PBC slides into the four spot with a shut out of B&D and a Rubber Buster loss. PBC is looking very good on the field and at the bar! Did anyone see all that neon they were sporting? Shout Out to Sean Joyal and Donna Bernadis for finishing 2nd and 3rd in the Limbo contest! This team has it going on!
KICK TEASE
Somehow this team moves up although they lost. They played a good game against a tough team. Didn’t come out victorious but looked strong. Did anyone see their fresh Kickball bags their team mom made? This team also seems to have issues keeping their clothes on. We observed the second instance of a male team mem-

These guys were no match for the offensive onslaught of PBC. They are starting to bring things together a bit and should be turning things around soon. Expect the Balls and Dolls to pick up a couple wins this season. *These are opinionated rankings that may or may not match true league Standings. Please be assured that these Rankings and Comments are not personal, all in fun, and intended to increase your overall Kickball experience. Please see website for actual league standings.
KICKBUTKUS
Back to back losses has moved this group down a bit. Expect them to finish their season strong, the wins will come. Lots of experience, just need to get it together.

Suffered a loss to arguably the best team in the league. They shook that off and went to the bar and started WINNING on the flip cup table. Look for this team to bounce back week 3 and start WINNING on the field as well. .

Krissy “El Capitan” Lime tossed an opponent over her back in the style of Keanu Reeves (Matrix moves, not Gets their 1st win in dramatic fashion by Point Break) whilst attempting for an out on second. ASK cOREY Dear Corey, After two weeks of hard work I have finally figure out how to bunt the ball. Last week I even got to first base, but when I got there, there were two bases and I was confused.
