The microLite HD Transmitter is a product focused on the future of broadcast workflow. The camera mountable Tx features SD/HD encoding in a miniature transmit solution package. The microLite HD can deliver 100200mW (frequency band dependant) from a package less than 11 cubic inches. Designed for a new generation of HD SDI capable compact cameras, the microLite supports video and embedded audio transmission with selectable bandwidths of 6, 7 and 8 MHz. The unit’s size makes it ideal for point of view, ENG, sporting events, and reality-based productions as well as confidence monitoring. The microLite may be camera mounted via a hot-shoe or paired with Litepanels camera mounted lighting solutions. The microLite features superb H.264 SD and HD encoding capabilities and operates in the standard 2k DVB-T COFDM mode. The microLite may be ordered in two main configurations: Broadcast or Sports and Entertainment. The Broadcast model features a local BARS control used to test system video integrity. The default presets are set for optimum video quality. The Sports and Entertainment model features a local FAN control button. The default presets are set for optimum video at low latency. The microLite HD has a friendly local control panel. The local controls include the selection of up to 12 presets, High/Low RF power and TX/ Standby. The microLite HD Tx is a perfect companion to the RF Central microLite HD Rx to form a complete link.
