Microphone The Shure SM58 microphone is a wired microphone for use with a powered speaker. The microphone is kept in a case in the Lynn Valley server room. Using the Microphone 1. Plug the 3 pin audio connector cable in to the microphone. 2. Plug the other end of the 3 pin audio connector cable into the appropriate input port on the speaker (e.g., "Ch 2 Mic In" port on the back of the Yorkville powered speaker (see the Lynn Valley Microphone / Powered Speaker Setup Instructions). Note that there are two 3 pin audio connectors that can be strung together for extra length. 3. Turn on the microphone using the switch on the side of the microphone. 4. Test the audio volume.
