CX135, SX245-L & SX145 IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL AN OS This workaround applies to your new CX135, SX245-L & SX145 server(s). When initiating the installation of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems you will be required to install the latest supplied drivers listed in the SEQUENCE below. Please note that these drivers are also required even if you are not using the onboard SATA or LSI SCSI controllers. Please have the drivers for the onboard SATA and LSI SCSI controller ready on a floppy disk prior to installation (These are supplied on the Driver CD). Once you have selected the F6 Key to install additional drivers during a Microsoft installation please follow the below steps: 1) Install the updated onboard SATA drivers. 2) Install the updated onboard LSI SCSI drivers 3) If you are using an additional RAID controller then please install the latest drivers at this point. If the above installation instructions are not followed, then you will experience difficulties in successfully completing the installation process.
