MicroSquare Installation Instructions, Pendant aircraft cable mount Page 1 of 4 Aircraft 1. Install ceiling-level mounting components. 2. Hang end caps from the aircraft cable at both ends of the row. 3. Hang joiners (where applicable for multiple-luminaire rows). Figure B 4. Trim excess aircraft cable. 5. Attach the first luminaire to the end cap. Secure with set screws (provided). 6. Continue to install the remaining luminaires in the same row (where applicable) 7. Snap the non-powered end cap to the luminaire at the end of the row. A Secure with set screws (provided). Figure A 8. Level entire row. 9. Tighten all set screws. 10. Connect power cord from the powered end cap into the j-box in the ceiling in accordance with the local and national electrical code. Install ceiling-level mounting components 2. Thread end cap pendant assemblies into mounting swivel ball. Feed power wires up into the pendant pipe at j-box location. Ensure all exposed conductors remain covered with fiberglass sleeve. Figure A 3. Thread joiners (where applicable for multiple luminaire rows) into mounting A swivel ball. Figure B 4. Attach the first luminaire to the end cap. Secure with set screws (provided) 5. Continue to install the remaining luminaires in the same row (where applicable) 6. Tighten all set screws 9. Determine vertical location of luminaires. Draw a reference line on the wall, corresponding to the lower edge of the luminaire. Figure A 2. Install wall brackets as follows, Figure B: a. Vertically, the bottom of wall brackets to be ¾” above the reference line b. Horizontally, the wall brackets to be installed between 4” and 12” from the end of luminaires and approximately every 48” inrun. Note: Wall brackets must be secured to structure (e.g. studs or cross-braces) 3. Route power cord from the end cap through J-box cover (provided by others) and complete the electrical connection in accordance with the local and national electrical code. Figure C 4. Lift and hang the first luminaire on the wall brackets. 5. Hang remaining luminaires, securing together with set screws provided. Figure D 6. Level luminaires using the wall bracket Tilt Screws, and secure using the wall bracket Lock Screws. Figure E 7. Attach end caps to both ends. Attach T-bar clips at the mounting locations. At the power drop location, install J-box (by others) using hardware and components provided. Figure A 2. Install the first mounting bracket. Do not fully tighten the nut. 3. Install the first fixture by engaging one end into the mounting bracket. Tilt the other end of fixture up. Figure B 4. Install the second mounting bracket to hold the fixture up on both ends. Do not fully tighten the nut. Figure C 5. Continue to install the remaining fixtures as above. 6. Install the end caps. 7. Feed the power cord of power-end cap through the J-box fitting into the J-box and make the electrical connection in accordance with the local and national electrical code. Figure D 8. Once completed row is hanging, tighten the mount bracket nuts to level the row. 9. Push the fixtures flush together and tighten the set screws.
