PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY 1.
Do not attempt to operate this oven with its door open since this can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is important not to break or tamper with the safety interlocks.

Do not place any object between the oven front face and its door, or allow soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.

WARNING: If the door or door seals are damaged, the oven must not be operated until it has been repaired by a competent person.
ADDENDUM Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of the surface that could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation. Metallic containers for food and beverages are not allowed during microwave cooking.

SAFETY INSTRUCTION IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS – READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE 1. To avoid electric shock, fire or injury, please read the user manual carefully before using the appliance and keep it for future reference.

This appliance is for household use only. Please use suitable power source (230V~/50Hz). Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Do not use the appliance under direct sunshine. Please turn off the appliance when not in use otherwise it may result in danger. Please turn off the appliance and unplug the socket when unattended otherwise it may result in danger.

23. Remove wire twist-ties and metal handles from plastic or paper containers/bags before placing them into the oven.
24. Install or locate this oven only in accordance with the installation instructions provided. 25. Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in microwave ovens since 3
they may explode, even after microwave heating has ended.
26. Use this appliance only for its intended uses as described in manual. Do not use corrosive chemicals or vapours in this appliance. This oven is especially designed to heat. It is not designed for industrial or laboratory use.
27. Do not store or use this appliance outdoors. 28. Do not use this oven near water, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool. 29. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating. Keep the cord away from the heated surface, and do not cover any vents on the oven.

This microwave oven is not designed to be built-in to a wall or cabinet. Accessible parts may become hot during use. Keep away the appliance from children. Do not use a steam cleaner. The surface are liable to get hot during use. Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the glass of the oven door since they can scratch the surface, which may result in shattering of the glass.

Only allow children to use the oven without supervision when adequate instructions have been given so that the child is able to use the oven in a safe way and understands the hazards of improper use.

When the appliance is operated in the combination mode, children should only use the oven under adult supervision due to the temperate generated (only for grill series)

PARTS DESCRIPTION
Turntable Installation
Never place the glass tray upside down. The glass tray should be free to rotate.
Never operate the oven without the glass tray and turntable ring.
All food and containers should be placed on the glass tray for cooking.
If the glass tray or the turntable ring cracks or breaks, please contact the service centre.

INSTALLATION Countertop Installation Remove all packing material from the oven cavity.
Do not remove the light brown waveguide cover
which is attached to the oven cavity. Examine the oven for any damage such as dents or broken door. Do not install if the oven is damaged. Oven cavity: Remove any protective film found on the microwave oven cavity surface.
Installation 1. Countertop must provide enough open space for the intake and/or outlet vents.
The minimum installation height is 85cm above the floor.
Allow space at least 20cm between the appliance and the adjacent wall or object.
Leave at least minimum 30cm space above the top surface of the oven
Do not remove the stands from the bottom of the oven.
Blocking the inlet and/or outlet vents can damage the oven.
Place the oven as far away from radios and TV as possible. Operation of microwave oven may cause interference to your radio and TV reception.
2. Plug the oven into a standard household outlet. Be sure the voltage and the frequency are the same as stated on the rating label. WARNING: Do not install oven over a range cooktop or other heat-producing appliance. If installed near or over a heat source, the oven could be damaged and the warranty would be void. The accessible surface may be hot during operation.

GROUNDING INSTALLATION DANGER Electric Shock Hazard Touching some of the internal components can cause serious personal injury or death. Do not disassemble this appliance.
WARNING Improper grounding can result in electric shock. Do not plug into an outlet unless appliance is properly installed and grounded. This appliance must be grounded.
In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the
risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. Please plug into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded. Should you have any doubt or not fully understood the grounding installation, please consult with a qualified technician.
Please use a 3-wire extension cord if extension is necessary.
1. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting in entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. 2. If a long cord or extension cord is used: The marked electric rating of the cord or the extension cord should be at least as great as the appliance. The extension cord must be a grounding-type 3-wire cord. The long cord should be located properly. Do not drape it over the countertop or the tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
OPERATION INSTRUCTION Utensils CAUTION See the instructions on Materials you can use in the microwave oven or Material to be avoided in the microwave oven. There may be certain non-metallic utensils that are not suitable for microwaving. If in doubt, please test the utensil in question with following procedures.
Utensil Test: 1. Fill a microwave-safe container with 1 cup of cold water (250ml) along with the empty utensil in question. 2. Cook on maximum power for 1 minute. 3. Feel the utensil carefully. If the empty utensil is hot, do not use it for microwave cooking. 4. Do not test the utensil over 1 minute cooking time.

Materials you can use in the microwave oven Utensils
Remarks
Aluminium foil
Use small pieces of aluminium foil to cover thin parts of meat or poultry to prevent overcooking. The foil should be at least 1 inch (2.5cm) away from oven walls.
Browning dish
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. The bottom of browning dish must be at least 3/16 inch (5mm) above the turntable. Incorrect usage may cause the turntable break.
Dinnerware
Microwave-safe only and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Do not use cracked or chipped dishes.
Glass jars
Always remove lid. Applies only to warm the food. Most of the glass jars are not heat resistant and may break.
Glassware
Heat-resistant oven glassware only. Make sure there is no metallic trim. Do not use cracked or chipped dishes.
Oven cooking bags
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not close with metal tie. Make slits to allow steam to escape.
Paper plates and cup
Applies only for short time cooking or warming. Please stay and keep your eyes on the container while cooking.
Kitchen towel
Use to cover food for reheating and absorbing oil. Applies only for short time cooking. Please stay while cooking
Parchment paper
Use as a cover on food to prevent splattering.
Plastic
Microwave-safe only, please follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Plastic wrap
Microwave-safe only. Use to cover food during cooking to retain moisture. Do not allow plastic wrap to touch food.
Thermometers
Microwave-safe only (meat and candy thermometers).
Wax paper
Use as a cover to prevent food splattering and retain moisture.

OPERATION Basic instructions for simple recipes as below:
General Cooking 1.
Set cooking power by turning the power knob to desired level
2.
Rotate the Timer Knob to the desired cooking time
3.
The microwave oven will automatically start and timer will count down to “0”
4.
When time is up, a signal bell will sound and the oven will automatically turn off.
Defrost Function 1.
Set cooking power by turning the power knob to M.Low (defrost)
2.
Rotate the Timer Knob to the weight of food as indicated on the defrost guide
3.
The microwave oven will automatically start and timer will count down to “0”
4.
When time is up, a signal bell will sound and the oven will automatically turn off.

Attention:
If you want to stop cooking before the end of the cooking time, turn the timer back to “0”.
When the oven door is opened, the operation of microwave oven will stop immediately.
If the unit is not in use, always set the timer to “0”
When removing food from the oven, please ensure that the oven power is switched off by turning the timer to “0”.
It is forbidden to run the unit without any food inside. It is very dangerous.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTION Cleaning Be sure to unplug the appliance from the power supply. Clean the oven cavity with a slightly damp cloth after used. Clean the accessories with soapy water. The door frame, seal and neighbouring parts must be cleaned carefully with a damp cloth.

Radio and TV reception may be interfered when microwave oven operating. It is similar to the interference of small electrical appliances, like mixer, vacuum cleaner, and electric fan. It is normal. In low power microwave cooking, oven light may become dim. It is normal. In cooking, steam may come out of food. Most will get out from vents. But some may accumulate on cool place like oven door. 5. To prevent circuit overload and fire, no more than one adaptor or one extension unit should be inserted into a socket outlet. (Do not connect other appliances to the socket outlet supplying an electric heater.) No adaptor should be inserted into any extension unit or vice versa. 6.
Stop using an adaptor or an extension unit or a socket if its socket holes cannot firmly hold a plug if it is too hard to insert a plug into it.
