Please note the requirement to dispose of Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment separately from household waste (WEEE marked with crossed out wheelie bin symbol). 2. Please consider your role in contributing to re-use and recycling by returning this product at end of life to a collection centre for waste electrical equipment or a Civic Amenity site, or to a retail outlet from which you are purchasing a replacement. 3. This equipment may contain substances that are hazardous to health and the environment if disposed of carelessly. It is important that it is separated from normal household waste and recycled in the WEEE chain 4. The “crossed out wheelie bin symbol” on a product indicates this equipment must not be disposed of in normal household waste, but should be disposed of according to local WEEE regulations The Installation must be carried out by an electrician LED Group Western Retail Park Nangor Road Dublin 12 Ireland Issue 3 310311 Tel: +353 1 7099000 Fax: +353 1 7099060 Email: [email protected] Website: www.led.ie ISO 9001:2008 Q UAL IT Y ASSU RE D CO MPANY Page 1 Swith on/off function: Max.5m detection radius and mounting height make it perfect for indoor application such as office, home, garage etc. Detection area can be adjusted on the DIP swithches. Unlike the ordinary potentiometers, this DIP switches offers precise values to the min. unit(min. 1s for hole-time,2 lux for daylight threshold, and 1 meter for the detection area). This precision feature is very important in large group of installation, where synchrony among the master fixture and slaves fixture is a must in the function. N ~220-240VAC L N L N L L^ N L N L Ballast Ballast Ballast Detection area: This determines the effective range of the motion detector and is set by DIP switches at the sensor itself, refer to figure. Note that reducing the sensitivity will also narrow the detection range. The following settings are available: I - maximum range up to 11m II – range up to 9m III – range up to 8m IV – range up to 7m V – range up to 6m Hold-time: I II III IV V This determines the time the fitting remains at 100% level on motion detection and is set with DIP switches at the sensor itself, refer to figure. The walk test setting is useful when installing the fitting to establish correct operation and range. I – Walk test mode 5s II – 30s III– 180s IV– 300s V– 15min VI– 25min 1 2 3 Ⅰ Ⅱ Ⅲ Ⅳ Ⅴ Ⅵ 1 2 3 USE OF ROBUS LIGHTING PRODUCTS WITH PRESENCE DETECTORS (PIR),OR MICROWAVE SENSOR ROBUS lighting products are suitable to use with PIRs, Microwave sensor, however certain guidelines should be adhered too to maximum lamp and fitting life. Set time on PIR,Microwave sensor to a maximum of 15 minutes or greater, to reduce the number of times lamps switch on, as frequent switching of lamps greatly reduces lamp life. Damaged lamps should be replaced promptly. A damaged lamp left unchanged for a long period can lead to control gear damage. Daylight sensor: This setting holds off the 100% light output should there sufficient daylight and is set using DIP switches at the sensor, refer to figure. The following settings are available: I – 2 lux darkness operation only II – 5 lux darkness operation only III – 20 lux twilight operation IV – 30 lux twilight operation V – *daylight, daylight sensor disabled I II III IV V In daylight setting the lamp(s) will always be on at standby light level until motion is detected and will then operate at 100% light output.
