Our line of mini clock cams is one of our bestselling products. These functional clocks with hidden cameras are a great option for covert recording. This new sleek design not only has a style that will fit into any home, it also has full HD recording. Uniquely to this model, you can watch the recorded videos on your television using the HDMI cable. The display cycles through time, date, and temperature. The mini clock camera HD records 1920*1080 resolution video in full color. This unit also has HDMI output with onscreen menu settings, giving you an easy way to configure your device. Use the remote control to choose between continuous video recording, motion detection, audio only, and taking still photographs. The battery lasts for up to 8 hours on one charge. In addition to its long battery life, this unit can also record while plugged in to a wall adapter. Store from 4GB up to 32GB of data on Micro SD. Connect the device directly to your computer for file transfer. HOW TO CHARGE THE MINI CLOCK CAMERA HD Using the AC Adapter 1. Plug the AC adapter with cable into a wall outlet 2. Plug the cable into the mini clock camera pro • The red indicator light will be on while the device is charging Using the USB Cable 1. Plug the USB cable into your PC 2. Plug the USB cable into the mini clock camera pro • The red indicator light will be on while the device is charging • The red indicator light will turn off when fully charged HOW TO SET THE TIME AND DATE The time, date, and temperature will all be displayed on the front LCD display. The first time you plug in the mini clock travel, the LCD display will count upward 0 – 9. The LCD display will rotate between time, date, and temperature. The temperature default is Celsius and the time default is Military. Five buttons that you need for setting up the mini clock travel are located on the back of the device (see Figure 2): • TIME • DOWN • UP • SET • MODE Set the Year 1. Push the SET button on the back of the device. “2010” should be blinking on the LCD display. 1 2. Push the UP button on the back of the device until the LCD display reads the current year. Set the Month and Day 1. Push the SET button again. There should be a “1” blinking on the left side of the LCD display. This is the month. 2. Push the UP or DOWN button until the number on the left side reads the current month. 3. Push the SET button again. There should be a “1” blinking on the right side of the LCD display. This is the day. 4. Push the UP or DOWN button until the number on the right side reads the current day. Set the Time 1. Push the SET button again. The hour should be blinking. 2. Push the UP or DOWN button until the LCD display reads the current hour. 3. Push the SET button again. The minutes should be blinking. 4. Push the UP or DOWN button until the LCD display reads the current minute. Switch from Military to Civilian Time 1. Push the TIME button on the back of the device. 2. Push the UP button to switch between military (24:00) and civilian (12:00). • If the time is after noon, the PM light should be on. Switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit 1. Push the TIME button on the back of the device. 2. Push the DOWN button to switch between degrees Celsius and degrees Fahrenheit. Set the Alarm 1. Push the TIME button on the back of the device. 2. Push the MODE button on the back of the device. The LCD display should read like the following: 3. Push the SET button on the back of the device. The hour should be blinking. 4. Push the UP or DOWN button to set the hour for which you want the alarm to sound. 5. Push the SET button again. The minutes should be blinking. 6. Push the UP or DOWN button to set the minute for which you want the alarm to sound. 7. Push the SET button again. The LCD display should read with a “01.” • This is the snooze. • Snooze can last from 1 – 60 minutes. 8. Push the UP or DOWN button to set the snooze time. 9. Push the SET button again. The LCD display should read with a “1.” • This is the alarm ring. • There are 6 rings from which to choose • Rings 1 – 5 are nature sounds • Ring 6 is a repetitive buzz. 10. Push the MODE button on the back of the device to exit the alarm. NOTICE: You have only set the alarm with these steps Turn On the Alarm 1. Push the TIME button on the back of the device. 2. Push the MODE button on the back of the device. 1 3. Push the UP button on the back of the device. The alarm light — located directly beneath the PM light — on the LCD display should be lit. 4. Push the MODE button to exit the alarm. 5. Repeat steps 1 – 4 to turn the alarm off. 6. To stop the alarm after it sounds, press the button on top of the device. PREPARING THE DEVICE FOR USE 1. Be sure the small On / Off switch— located above the battery and to the left of the USB port — is in the ON position. 2. Insert a MicroSD card — 4GB or higher — into the slot located to the left of the HDMI port. • If there is no SD card in the slot, the indicator light will flash red/blue while the device is plugged in. • If there is an SD card in the slot, the indicator light will be solid red/blue while the device is plugged in. 3. Make sure your mini clock camera HD has been fully charged. 4. Place the device where you want to record. USING THE REMOTE HOW TO TURN ON THE CAMERA 1. Push the Power Button on the remote • The blue indicator light will come on HOW TO RECORD VIDEO 1. Push the Video Button on the remote • The blue indicator light will flash 3 times slowly • The device is now recording HOW TO TAKE PHOTOS 1. Push the Camera Button • The blue indicator light will blink once slowly HOW TO USE MOTION DETECTION 1. Press the OK button HOW TO CHANGE THE TIME AND DATE STAMP 1. Use the Select Up and Select Down buttons to select Time/Date 2. Press OK 3. Use the Select Up and Select Down buttons to change the year 4. Press OK 5. Use the Select Up and Select Down buttons to change the month 6. Press OK 7. Use the Select Up and Select Down buttons to change the day 8. Press OK 9. Use the Select Up and Select Down buttons to change the hour (military time) 10. Press OK 11. Use the Select Up and Select Down buttons to change the minute 12. Press OK HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE 1. Use the Select Up and Select Down buttons to select Language 2. Use the Select Up and Select Down buttons to choose the language you want 3. Press OK HOW TO FORMAT THE SD CARD 1. Use the Select Up and Select Down buttons to select Format 2. Use the Select Down button to choose SD Card 3. Press OK 1 5. Open the folder featuring a sequence of numbers. 6. Double click the file you want to view. • VLC Player is recommended for watching videos. RETRIEVE THE FILES TO YOUR PC 1. Plug the device into your PC using the USB cable. 2. Locate “Removable Disk” inside the (My) Computer folder. • AutoPlay Removable Disk > Open folder to view files 1 Or… • Go to Start > Computer > Removable Disk 3. Open the Removable Disk drive. 4. Open the DCIM folder. TROUBLESHOOTING SPECIFICATIONS THE DEVICE WON’T TURN ON • Charge the device for at least 4 hours before the first use. • Make sure the charging cable is securely inserted into the device and into the power source. The A/C adapter might be bad. THE DEVICE HAS CRASHED • You need to reset the device. o Take out the battery and put it back in. MY COMPUTER DOESN’T RECOGNIZE THE DEVICE • Unplug the device from your PC and reboot the device. • Unplug the device from your PC and reboot your PC. • Try using a different USB slot on your PC. • Replace the USB cable. THE SOUND OR VIDEO IS UNCLEAR • The device needs charging. THE INDICATOR LIGHT IS ON, BUT THE CAMERA WILL NOT RECORD VIDEO OR TAKE PHOTOS • The SD card may be too small. o Insert and SD card at least 4GB – 32GB. THE INDICATOR LIGHT IS FLASHING RED/BLUE • There is no SD card in the device.
