The camera has 20 metres of infrared night vision for viewing in complete darkness. The camera has an automatic Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) function for clearer images when viewing scenes with strong backlight. The camera is vandal resistant and tamper resistant. The 78° Lens and 3-axis adjustament make it ideal for use as a: • Forward Facing Accident Camera (mount outside the vehicle) • Driver Facing Camera • Interior Facing Camera • Passenger Facing Camera • Side View Camera (mount outside the vehicle) • Reversing Camera (mount outside the vehicle) Camera - Front Camera - Side Camera - Back Camera - Location Features • The camera features a class leading Xvision Pixel+ lens for producing 78° angle images • Latest Sony CCD imaging sensor and Xvision DSP with Wide Dynamic Range function - for clearer images even in scenes where there is strong backlight present, for example on buses and coaches • Up to 20m IR night vision for viewing in complete darkness • If reversed/mirror images are required, for rear facing applications - simply connect the camera to a Smart Witness monitor or recorder, as as all models are able to change the orientation of cameras images during both live viewing and playback • Vandal resitant for use in situation where the camera may be vulnerable to vandalism • Tamper resistant design • 3-axis adjustment, makes it easy to point the camera in any direction and orientation during installation. • Designed for external use, the camera is waterproof to IP68 standards, allowing it to be used in all weather conditions The camera is available in 2 versions: SVA026: This version has a 30cm cable (optional extensions leads available) that terminates in a BNC socket (for video output) and a DC socket (for power input) SVA026-W: This version is supplied with a wireless transmitter and receiver. The camera plugs in to the transmitter unit and the receiver unit plugs in to a monitor or recorder. The maximum distance between the transmitter and receiver is 30m line of sight.
