Installation 1. Suitable diameter hole size through the bench top is 35-38mm. Ensure the thickness of the bench top does not exceed 30mm. 2. Fit hot and cold supply hoses into mixer body. 3. Fit chrome base ring to mixer body. 4. Place the mixer body and hoses through the hole cut in the bench top (NB: The hoses will need to be placed through the holes one at a time). Drawing A. 5. Assemble the washers and spacer as per Drawing B and tighten lock nut with spanner. 6. Screw the pull out spray handpiece into the conical end of the spray hose, ensuring firm seal is made with the sealing washer within the hose’s conical end fitting. 7. Push plastic hose guide over chrome hose and fit to threaded screw rod with small holding nut as per Picture 1. 8. Attach chrome hose to threaded screw rod with hose coupling nut as per Picture 2. 9. Fit the split washer and attach the lead weight to the spray hose using the screws provided. The screws are used to assemble the two halves of the lead weight around the hose. The optimum position for the lead weight is at the bottom of the front loop of the spray hose. 10.Flush pipework throroughly. 11. Conect the hoses to their respective water supplies (See over page). Two rubber washers are provided for the flexible hose supply connections. Machined nipple ends are required to ensure a seal to the flexible hose nuts and the rubber washers.

Use of this product is recommended for domestic and commercial applications. All pipework must be thoroughly flushed prior to the installation of the mixer. Inline filter washers must be installed on both hot and cold supplies to prevent foreign particles damaging the ceramic cartridge. Do not remove the ceramic cartridge from the mixer when installing.

For optimum performance hot and cold water pressures should be equal.
AS/NZS 3500 stipulates a 500kPa maximum operating pressure at any outlet within a building. Where normal pressure exceeds 500kPa, a pressure limiting valve must be installed.
Operating Temperature:
Recommended hot water supply 50°C, maximum 70°C. AS/NZS 3500 requires all hot water supplies to any sanitary fitting to be tempered to 50°C.
Ceramic cartridges:
Ceramic cartridge can be damaged due to the presence of the following within the water supply:
Copper tube pieces Plastic pieces Sand, dirt or stones Thread tape Other objects not normally present in the potable water supplies
Piping Requirements for Mixers Avoid restrictive piping, fitting or sharp angled bends when plumbing the mixer Do not hydrostatic test* the installation with this mixer installed. Damage to the ceramic cartridge may occur. *Hydrostatic testing refers to placing the system under pressure, above the recommended operating pressure, to determine water tightness and to uncover leaks or weak joints within the system.
Care and Cleaning Never use abrasives to clean this product. Clean regularly with contamination free warm soapy water and a damp soft cloth.
