With the hair dryer still turned off, set the Ping Pong ball on the nozzle.) If you want your life to be the very best that it can be, you should trust God to point you in the direction He wants you to go, and then you should follow His leading. God’s way is the best way, and He will give you the power you need to do whatever He wants you to do. The Bible says that we should trust the Lord, and He will direct our paths. Let’s say this Ping Pong ball represents your life. What can you do without the power of God? Not much. See how this ball just sits there? But with the power of God, you can do great things. (Turn the hair dryer on. The Ping Pong ball will rise into the air and stay suspended there.) God’s Spirit will lift you up and direct your paths. He might have plans for you that you never even dreamed of! He might lead you in one direction (lean the hair dryer to one side, only as far as the Ping Pong ball will still stay in the air stream), or in another direction (lean the hair dryer to the opposite side). No matter where He leads you, as long as you keep trusting Him, He will keep you on the right path and fill you with His power. Missionaries put their trust in God, and they go wherever He tells them to go. It might be the same with you someday. God might tell you to go to Africa, or to Asia, or to another far-off place to bring the good news to others. Go where He leads, and He will not let you down! (Turn off the hair dryer and catch the ball in the air.) 140 2012 BGMC Missions Manual, Vol. 14 © 2012 by Gospel Publishing House, 1445 N. Boonville Ave., Springfield, MO 65802. All rights reserved.
