Fixed Laser System
Saturn 3
TM
The Saturn 3™ laser system provides safe and effective ablation of the zona pellucida. Using a high power ablation laser and a visible pilot laser transmitted through fibre optics, the RI Saturn™ laser systems are the most accurate systems on the market today. The shortest possible pulse times minimise heat radiation, ensuring embryo safety.
Accurate Highly accurate fixed position laser. Pilot beam to guarantee laser alignment Safe Optimum laser power for lowest laser pulse times. Exclusion Zone™ feature ensures cell safety Easy to Use Intuitive software package Saturn 3™ used with Integra Ti™ with Inverted Microscope and Imaging System
Using cutting edge fibre optic laser technology, the Saturn 3™ laser system offers superb accuracy, safety and speed for all laser assisted ART procedures. The red pilot beam ensures optimisation on each microscope. Only Saturn™ lasers have this feature which also guarantees the position of the ablation laser. The dedicated software clearly indicates the area that will be ablated and, if required, the hole size can be adjusted prior to firing. The laser can be automatically set to frequently used hole sizes by using the configurable presets. The software also displays the Exclusion Zone™, based on published medical research1, which indicates how close to critical cells the laser can be fired. Optimised Laser
In addition, the software allows images from the microscope to be stored for future reference. It also features a video recorder so that procedures can be recorded for quality control or training purposes.

Key Software Features: Clear hole size indication, on-screen hole size adjustment, laser presets, digital magnification, measurement overlay, image storage, video recording, compatibility with analogue and digital cameras. The Saturn 3™ laser is a Class 1 laser product as defined by international laser safety standards. It is CE-marked and FDA cleared2. 1 K. No 6. 2005 697-710 2 The applicability of procedures is dependent on the regulations of the country into which the device is sold. In the USA, FDA cleared for clinical use for Laser Assisted Hatching (LAH) only.
Customer Testimonial “The RI Saturn 3™ laser ensures accurate and therefore safe ablation, essential when patient’s embryos are at stake.” Martyn Blayney, Bourn Hall Clinic, UK
