Mounting the MMS100 / MMS200 to a Projector The alignment of the MMS100 and MMS200 mirror to the projector's optical path is critical for good performance. In addition, the physical attachment of the MMS fixture must be correct to not cause damage to the projector nor the fixture nor cause bodily harm. Key Points to note: l

High End Systems has available mounting adapter kits to fit the Barco Large Format projectors. (HDX, FLMĀ and HDQ) Please contact sales if additional kits are needed. Visually inspect the structural integrity of the projector handling frame, as well as the MMS frame. If either are damaged, do not continue. Ensure that the (4) mounting clamps that are used to attach the MMS to the projector touring frame are closed, locked, and tightened properly. Ensure that the safety cable is firmly attached to the projector touring frame and the projector safety point. The alignment of the MMS's mirror needs to be centered to optical lens path, adjust the physical alignment of the MMS's mirror to the projector frame first The horizontal lens travel should be centered in its path, this will correspond to the center of the mirror pan rotation. The vertical lens travel should placed to minimize lens vignetting, while remaining as close as possible to the lens rotation center. It is critical that the mirror has good alignment to the optical path. This alignment is critical to the graphic auto-rotation feature to work correctly.
It is critically important that the safety cable is routed to a secure location, and the mounting clamps are locked and tightened
