The MDC is a secure, mobile dispensing cart, providing fully auditable availability of items, consumables and equipment at the point-of-need, supporting a simpler, safer workflow. MOBILITY The MDC is a compact, high capacity mobile dispensing solution. Sturdy but easily manoeuvred, the MDC comes with a full specification PC with built in Wi-Fi to ensure connectivity is maintained anywhere within your facility.
ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRACEABILITY All transactions are logged to a specific user and cost centre, with full and accurate audit and reporting capabilities detailing who, when, where and why about the usage of any component contained within the MDC.
FLEXIBILITY The MDC doubles as a remote workstation as well as a secure point-of-need dispensing solution.
EFFICIENCY Multiple drawers can be selected in one transaction minimising the time required for dispensing medicines.
Various drawer sizes are available, allowing users to configure the machine to suit their needs.
Simple graphical search functionality makes it easy to locate the correct medication. The system automatically records stock levels, quantities and expiration dates, eliminating the need for manual stock checks.
MANUAL OVERRIDE In an ideal world a manual override would not be necessary, but if required the MDC has an easy-to-use manual override to ensure 24/7 availability of the vital supplies controlled by the system. REDUCE PICKING ERRORS Interruptions during drug administration rounds are less troublesome with the MDC. The independently locking secure drawers provide confidence for nurses that the medications are safe and secure until required and are only available to correctly authorised personnel. HIGH SPEED ACCESS Rapid search and selection of items via the SupplyPoint™ software is further enhanced with a complete LED identification system, which guides users directly to the location containing the desired items. SECURITY Access to the contents of the MDC can be restricted by the use of username, password, biometric identification, card readers or a combination of these options. The locations are independently locked, providing access to specific items and quantities, with individually configurable access control.

Each battery set can provide up to 8 hours standby operation before requiring replacement/recharging. HIGH DURABILITY A 15” touchscreen, flush mounted into a durable Corian®, non-porous and stain resistant worktop allows easy cleaning, reducing the chance of contamination if the MDC is moved between locations in the facility.

HOT SWAPPABLE BATTERIES Intelligent, high capacity, hot swappable batteries ensure the MDC is operational 24/7 without the need to return it to a charging station. The system automatically switches between batteries when power is depleted.
