2016 Model Information MODEL CODE: KVF750GGF MODEL NAME: Brute Force 750 4x4 EPS KAWASAKI’S FLAGSHIP SPORT-UTILITY-FARM ATV Kawasaki’s flagship ATV offers the potent combination of a high-performance 750 cc V-Twin engine and a compact, lightweight body. Superior handling and an EPS system offer a serious boost in sport riding potential. Superb control features further contribute to rider confidence, this precise control enabling riders to take full advantage of the engine and chassis’ potential. Key Brute Force 750 4x4i features: H Evolution of the industry’s first V-Twin engine offers high peak torque and power, superb acceleration H H H H and extremely smooth power delivery. With fuel injection fuel delivery is instantaneous, ensuring response is sharper than ever. Sealed rear wet brake (Kawasaki technology) completely seals the internal components from water, mud, dust, etc, ensuring uncompromised rear braking performance. Kawasaki’s unique Variable Front Differential Control allows the rider to finely control the amount of torque being transmitted to the front wheels. Kawasaki’s high-grade electric power steering (EPS) offers both enhanced handling and increased ride comfort. FUEL INJECTION: CLEANER, MORE PRECISE When Kawasaki engineers added fuel injection to our largest and most powerful V-Twin ATV engine, their primary objective was to maintain the engine character of the KVF750A – which meant that riders got more of a great thing. In addition to the substantial power delivered by the mighty, liquid-cooled, 749 cc SOHC, 4-valve engine, riders will be able to enjoy the inherent benefits of fuel injection (setting adjustments are not necessary when changing altitude, idling adjustments are unnecessary, and starting is hassle-free) – plus, increased response and lighter throttle lever action. H Taking into account coolant temperature, air intake temperature, throttle position, air intake pressure, vehicle speed and crankshaft angle, the fuel injection system (which uses 36 mm throttle bodies and a 32-bit CPU) automatically meters out the ideal amount of fuel for extremely stable power delivery – no matter what the conditions. H Because with fuel injection fuel delivery is instantaneous, response is sharper than ever. H Reduced spring rate for the throttle return springs and ball bearings in the throttle bodies (to reduce friction) give a lighter feel at the throttle lever, which contributes to reduced rider fatigue. H A high-pressure fuel pump is located inside the tank. A unique reservoir chamber at the bottom of the fuel pump ensures air does not get into the fuel system. New settings match the revised engine characteristics and contribute to improved off-idle character. Engine H Powerful, liquid-cooled, 749 cc SOHC, 4-valve V-twin engine churns out a substantial 37 kW {50 PS}/ 6,750 rpm. H Ample torque output 59 N·m {6.0 kgf·m}/ 5,200 rpm lets the KVF750 accelerate with ease. Higher compression ratio care of new cylinder heads contributes to increased ultra-low rpm torque. Mid-high performance is maintained, but the increased low-end performance helps when starting from a stop. New camshaft profiles with revised timing and increased valve lift also contribute to the increased performance. The exhaust pipes are formed from stainless steel to better handle stress and offer increased rust resistance. Mounting the muffler using rubber mounts (instead of rigid) also helps alleviate stress to the exhaust system. Large radiator, large radiator fan and large-diameter cooling hoses and pipes increase cooling performance. Using a selfrepairing breaker (relocated near the steering shaft) and a dedicated fuse for the fan contributes to added convenience. The coolant reservoir is located near the right front wheel. H Kawasaki’s V-Twin is not only powerful but is very smooth. The V-Twin design reduces engine vibration. Transmission H Electrically “selectable” 2WD/4WD system allows easy changing between drive systems to suit changing terrain and applications. H KAPS (Kawasaki Automatic Power-Drive System) enables quick shifting between high, low and reverse thanks to the belt-type torque converter. H Variable front differential control makes it much easier to get the ATV moving when it gets stuck. Lever operation lets the rider adjust the amount of torque to suit conditions. Without rider intervention, the system functions as a limited slip differential. Applying force to the lever increases the torque (thereby reducing slip) to a maximum level equivalent to that of a mechanical differential lock (i.e. no slip). H Kawasaki Engine Brake Control uses a speed sensor with electric actuator for smooth operation. This system detects the ATV’s speed and deceleration electrically, and when the conditions are satisfied, the electric actuator presses the CVT pulley thereby connecting the driving pulley with the driven pulley through the belt and then generating braking force to the engine. This brake force only works when going forward and the speed is more than 3 km/h. H Override switch allows the rider to increase the amount of power when riding in reverse gear. H Tough double cog belt ensures high durability. H Hard chrome plating on the belt converter drive shaft contributes to reduced bushing wear. Settings (belt converter weight and drive springs) offer excellent speed transition characteristics, increasing control during low-speed operation. Brakes H Twin 200 mm discs with dual-piston brake calipers deliver powerful, progressive braking, offering excellent feel and performance. H The KVF750 features Kawasaki’s sealed, internal wet brake. Built in to the rigid and lightweight aluminium swingarm, its highly acclaimed design completely seals the internal components from mud and dust, etc, and its compact size contributes to plenty of clearance. COMFORT & CONVENIENCE Strong carrying and towing capacity and convenient storage spaces ensure the ATV is able to work as hard as it can play. This is complemented by all-day comfort so that, whether loaded up or empty , the Brute Force 750 makes an ideal outdoor partner. Suspension settings & seat for handling and comfort H Dual-rate springs for the front and rear suspension enables sport riding performance to be maintained while offering ride comfort. Initial stroke compression is soft, allowing the springs to more easily soak up bumps at lower speed; as the springs are further compressed, the firmer second spring rates come into play, providing performance necessary for higher performance riding. H Suspension settings and new seat urethane offer rider comfort. The seat feels softer initially, but offers firm support for comfort after long hours in the saddle. Relatively firm suspension settings still enable fast riding. Increased comfort HSeat urethane was selected for good ride comfort. The seat feels soft initially, but offers firm support for comfort after long hours in the saddle. New seat material has superb elasticity, offering increased comfort and holding performance. The material is also resistant to cold, allowing it to maintain its suppleness when temperatures drop and reducing the chance of tearing/ripping when exposed to cold temperatures. Thicker covers for the rear exhaust pipe and muffler, and heat-resistant padding added to the inside of the side covers significantly reduces engine heat transmitted to the rider, contributing to enhanced rider comfort. PRACTICAL FEATURES Convenient storage H A sealed waterproof glove box is located on the front left fender. The convenient storage compartment complements the easy-access storage pocket (located on the right). Handy new covered bonnet storage is large enough to hold two 500 mL bottles. Carrying and towing capacity HConvenient carriers hold 40 kg up front and 80 kg at the rear, and are ideal for work, camping and many other tasks. Stronger, larger-diameter tubing contributes to the tougher styling, and hook loops added to the tubes facilitate securing a load. Pre-wired for winch HIn addition to accessory mounting brackets available for either a Super Winch or Warn brand winch, North American and Australasian models come standard with pre-routed tubing that facilitates routing winch wiring. Instruments The New instrumentation offers improved legibility. Automotive-style design complements the quality image. Multi-purpose, digital instrumentation includes speedometer, odometer, tripmeter, fuel gauge, engine temperature indicator, clock, and hour meter. Indicator lamps for EPS (KVF750G/H/J only), neutral, reverse gear, 2WD/4WD, belt indicator, and oil warning are also fitted. Wheels Cast aluminium wheels – standard equipment (a first for a Japanese ATV) – contribute to the sharp looks and quality image. Safety H A “vehicle down” sensor automatically shuts off the fuel supply if the machine’s attitude becomes extreme. If the vehicle tips over or leans more than 65 degrees, the sensor operates, cutting the fuel supply to prevent fuel leakage.
