____________________________________________________________________________________ IP Extender with Power over Coax Our IP2P Extender is designed to connect and extend an IP/PoE camera or any TCP/IP 10/100BASE-T device over existing coaxial cable. With a maximum distance of 591ft (180m) using RG6 75Ω coaxial cable, completely transparent to protocols, codes, applications and management software ensuring compatibility with any IP/PoE camera or other TCP/IP device. It is a perfect solution for receiving IP video and sending power to a remote camera location that is beyond the 328ft (100m) distance limit of Ethernet.

Connection and Operation: Before installation, please make sure devices you are connecting are turned off. Connect an Ethernet cable from your PC or PoE switch to the transmitter and connect another Ethernet cable between the receiver to an IP camera, wireless access point, router, modem, switch, embedded computer or other network device. Between the transmitter and receiver, connect a coaxial cable with BNC connectors up to 591ft (180m) max. After these connections are complete, connect power to your devices to make sure you have a link light and a blinking data light. If the status lights are correct, test the connection by accessing your device from a PC.
Installation View: Example 1: In this installation view, the 48VDC power supply is connected to the transmitter and sends power to the receiver over coaxial cable. Then the receiver converts this higher voltage into lower voltage to correctly power the camera using included adaptor cables. Make sure the output switches at the receiver side are set to the right settings for your device, select DC (Mode) and 5V or 12V (Voltage) before connecting.

Example 2: In this installation view, the 48VDC power supply is connected to the transmitter and sends power to the receiver over coaxial cable, then PoE to the device. Make sure the output switches at the receiver side are set to the correct settings for your device, select PoE (Mode) and 5V or 12V (Voltage - Not Used) before connecting.
Example 3: In this installation view, the 48VDC power supply is not used and the transmitter is powered by a PoE switch. The PoE switch is connected to the transmitter and sends power to the receiver over coaxial cable, then PoE to the device. Make sure the output switches at the receiver side are set to the correct settings for your device, select PoE (Mode) and 5V or 12V (Voltage - Not Used) before connecting.
