INTRODUCTION MOTION ACTIVATED SOLAR POWERED LED SECURITY LIGHT MODEL: LED-1202 Thank you for purchasing the LED-1202 Solar Powered Security Light the most cost-effective way to illuminate and protect your home, business, and recreational areas. With its easy setup and lightweight design, this light conforms to most of your lighting needs and is especially useful wherever an electrical outlet is not accessible. The LED-1202 Solar-Powered Security Light converts solar energy to electricity so that lighting is available wherever and whenever you desire. Simply install or set the solar charging panel where sun exposure is prevalent. The attached 5m cable provides sufficient length for easy placement. In the ON mode, (normal operation setting) the light illuminates at night only when motion is detected, then automatically resets. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION 1. The LED-1202 light fixture should be installed on a stable surface the higher the light is placed, the larger the area of illumination. 2. Avoid installing the light near an air conditioner, heater or high-voltage system, since quick changes in temperature may activate the motion- detection system 3. Avoid positioning the motion sensor head towards street traffic, or where other movements may trigger the light needlessly and drain the battery. 4. The solar panel should be installed facing the sky where direct sunlight can shine on the panel at least 6-8 hours per day. (Before initial use, the panel will need 2-3 days of sunlight exposure to fully charge the battery.) 5. The motion sensor is most sensitive to movement across the device and less sensitive to motion directly towards or away from it. 6. Periodically use a soft damp cloth to clean accumulated dust or snow off of the knob anti-clockwise on the minimum, turn the LUX knob clockwise on the maximum(SUN). When you switch on the power, the controlled load is not working . Preheat 30 seconds later, when the sensor gets the induction signal, the load will be turned on. After the load is turned off, it will be turned on again when the sensor gets induction signal within 5~15 sec. After the first is out, make it sense again after 5~10sec. The load should work. When there is no induction signals in the sensor, the load should be stopped working . Turn LUX knob anti-clockwise on the minimum. If it is adjusted in the less than 3LUX (dark), the load and sensor should not work when testing in daylight. If you cover the detection window with the opaque objects (towel etc), the load work. Under no induction signal condition, the load should stop working within 5-15sec. Note: when testing in daylight, please turn LUX knob to sensor lamp could not work! (SUN) position, otherwise the Troubleshooting Tips Symptom The light will not illuminate. Possible Solution Make sure the light switch is not at OFF. Symptom The load do not work Please check if the working light sets correspond to ambient light. Make sure the battery is connected inside the battery compartment. The sensitivity is poor Please check if the induction signal source is in the detection fields. Please check if the installation height corresponds to the height showed in the instruction. The light will not work once the battery is removed from the jacket. If you reconnect the battery, the unit must be exposed (for at least 10 seconds) to direct sunlight to trigger activation or charging. While in ON mode, if there is frequent activity from dusk to dawn or consecutive overcast days, the solar panel may not convert sufficient ambient daylight to recharge the battery sufficiently. Reposition solar panel to receive more sunlight. Clean dust and debris from solar panel. Make sure the solar panel cable is not damaged. The light stays on continuously while in ON mode Motion has not been detected within the coverage area. Check the motion detector to ensure that it is not directed towards street traffic or where other movements may trigger the light needlessly. Check the motion sensor lens for dust or damage. Avoid installing the light near an air conditioner, central heater, or hot air flow. Please check if there has hindered in front of the detection window to effect to receive the signal. . Please check if the ambient temperature is too high. Make sure there is no other brighter light source near the unit. The battery does not fully charge. Please check if the connection-wiring of power and load is correct. Please check if the load is good. Make sure the solar-panel plug is fully inserted. Before turning the light on for the first time, set switch to OFF or ON mode and allow the solar panel to absorb direct sunlight for two or more days to recharge the battery. Possible Solution Please check if the moving orientation is correct. The sensor can not shut off the load automatically Please check if there is continual signal in the detection field. Please check if the time delay is the longest. Please check if the power corresponds to the instruction. Please check if the temperature near the sens or changes obviously, such as air condition or central heating etc. .
