This manual describes all the commands available for the system but all may not be available in your application. Please consult your installation center or installing dealer for controls and options available to you. Reading this entire manual will provide you the most complete and up to date information about your system. When installed with a host device, locking the vehicle doors with the keychain transmitter will arm the vehicle tracking device. Unlocking the vehicle doors with the keychain transmitter will disarm the vehicle tracking device. If the keychain transmitter is lost or otherwise rendered inoperative, you must disarm the system by manual override as specified in the owner’s manual. While the system is armed and the doors are locked, the unit will log its position periodically checking that the vehicle has not been moved beyond the controlled area. While armed, if the vehicle alarm is triggered, the system will send a door violation or vehicle alarm trigger alert. -4- 128-7914 4 of 20 If the vehicle is then moved beyond the controlled area, relative to the logged position, the system will send you a notification of unauthorized vehicle movement. Your account can be set for telephone and/or e-mail notifications if you choose. When receiving any automated notification alert produced by the system, it will advise you of the specific event which has triggered the notification massage. Upon receipt of the message, you may press one (1) to acknowledge the alert message or two (2) to repeat it. In the event that upon inspection you determine that the vehicle has been removed from the area where it was parked, please contact (800) 705-8766 and select option (2) to Report A Stolen Vehicle. WARNING: When the host alarm or keyless entry system is put into the Valet mode, the PursuiTrak device is incapable of sending any notifications in the event of a door violation or unauthorized vehicle movement. Be certain to exit the valet mode to ensure that your vehicle is properly protected. -5- 128-7914 5 of 20 Account Activation Your Car Dealer or Retailer from where you purchased the system may have already activated your account.
