It will allow you to use the remote commander from your Sony Brand DSS receiver and the remote commander from a second video product from one distant TV location (you can purchase additional IR targets to add remote control from other remote connected TV locations). It will allow you to view local cable or antenna at each of the connected television sets.
programming
Please follow the enclosed instructions carefully when installing the product. This unit has been designed to operate with a cable signal that is fully compliant with FCC signal strength regulations. In the unlikely event that the cable channels received on the connected "t_elevisions appears to be Ugrainy" it could be caused by a very weak or very strong signal from your local cable programming provider, or from a signal splitter in your home. Please make sure that the signal from your local cable programming provider goes directly to the Sony Multi-Room Distribution System; remove any signal splitters that you find. If the picture is still Ugrainy', please call your local cable programming provider and ask them to check and adjust your signal level.
