Hitachi leads in the development of new monitor technologies and is quick to implement advances that offer performance, ergonomic and environmental advantages. Our flat screen LCD monitors offer a space and energy saving alternative in many applications, while our flat screen CRT monitors continue to meet the more demanding needs of applications requiring large images and very high resolution. Advances continue with both our CRT technologies as we have recently introduced a number of developments aimed at reducing power consumption while maintaining more natural images with less reflection, better brightness and contrast than most competitive models.
The advantages of an Hitachi LCD monitor include:
In the past the reduced size had been offset against poorer image quality and a narrow viewing angle. However, Hitachi’s latest LCD screens represent a major advance which maintains brightness, contrast and colour fidelity over a much greater viewing angle. Hitachi’s LCD range offers stylish design in either standard ivory or carbon grey and all LCD monitors are supplied with a 3 year warranty (on-site in EU). This includes the backlight.

20” TFT monitor CML200UXW This top of the range 20” TFT comes with an attractive silver cabinet with detachable speakers. To compliment the design, this model has numerous additional high-end features including multiple inputs, an excellent brightness/contrast ratio panel, and a 20.1” viewable screen. This viewable area is not only larger than any conventional 21” CRT but with the 1600 x 1200 UXGA resolution, it enables the image of two A4 sheets to be displayed alongside each other.
Despite the advances in LCD technology and production, CRT monitors are still unmatched for a large number of demanding applications where high resolution and colour fidelity is paramount. Smaller CRT monitors also continue to offer a cost effective solution for the high quality images required for today’s graphically intensive computing environment.
