If the light is immersed in a pool or spa or exposed to heavy rain the unit will be damaged and negate the warranty. 6 L I G H T To OPERATE Remote Control: 1. When operating the remote control, make sure the light is on standby mode by the power switch on the light housing is pressed on. 2. On the remote, press the Brightness Button (Fig. 10) once for a bright light setting. Press the Brightness Button (Fig. 10) a second time, the lights will dim. 3. To turn lights off, depress the On/Off button (Fig. 9) on Remote Control. NOTE: When the brightness of the light is weak and the lightening switch does not work, the battery pack should be removed and recharged. Fig. 9 A S S E M B L Y Following the diagram below, tighten the 8 bolts as shown in 1-5 (Fig. 1). 1 2 Fig. 10 3 4 5 Fig. 1 FRONTGATE 5 2 To OPEN the Monticello Umbrella Light: To OPERATE the Monticello Umbrella Light: 1. Open the Monticello umbrella light by holding firmly with one hand and then depress the unlock button (Fig. 2) with the other hand to release the clamp. 1. Depress the On/Off button (Fig. 7) to turn light on standby mode. 2. For bright mode, press the Brightness Button (Fig. 8) once. Press the Brightness Button (Fig. 8) a second time, the lights will be dim. To CHARGE/RECHARGE the Monticello Umbrella Light: 1. With the Monticello umbrella light opened, slide back the battery release button (Fig. 3) to remove the battery pack from its compartment (Fig. 4). 2. After removing the battery pack, plug the charger into the battery DC input (Fig. 5), then plug charger into AC 110V electrical outlet (Fig. 6) for 6 hours to fully charge. NOTE: Indoor charging only. 3. When the indicator turns green, the battery is completely charged. Gently slide battery pack back into compartment until battery pack snaps into place (Fig. 4). NOTE: Only use the supplied battery charger, charging the light with a substitute charger may damage the battery pack or cause overheating, which could result in personal injury and/or other damages.
