Use the TV remote to control the room

PRESS to turn television ON and OFF
Classroom PC is Selected by Default Select the appropriate input using the remote: HDMI 1 is PC HDMI 2 is AUX HDMI 3 is Apple TV
Adjust VOLUME
Problems: Check volume and mute control on computer or application or AUX device. Also check that the sound playback setting on your device is set to “Sharp HDMI.”
When leaving the classroom, please: • Turn TV OFF – Press POWER button on the TV remote • Log out of the room computer (computer should always remain on)

AUX: Connect and Display your Laptop, Smartphone or Tablet
The AUX cable allows the user to connect an HDMI-compatible device. Select the appropriate input: • HDMI 1 is the PC; • HDMI 2 is AUX; • HDMI 3 is the Apple TV.
An adapter may be needed to connect your device.
We encourage you to plan ahead and be familiar with how your device connects to HDMI. Please feel free to call us for help.
APPLE TV: Display Instructor (or Student) iPad or iPhone Wirelessly Requires iPhone 4S, iPad 3 or newer (with iOS 7.1 or newer) 1. Press the APPLE TV logo button on the keypad. On your Apple device, o Confirm Bluetooth is on o Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and touch the AirPlay icon o Select the Apple TV for this classroom, enable mirroring, enter code from classroom monitor ü Use Picture Blank to avoid displaying sensitive information, including passwords 2. Disconnect from AirPlay before leaving the room (same process as #1, but select iPad or iPhone) Apple TV in the classroom is a new feature – please email us with any questions, comments or suggestions.
Wireless Keyboard and Mouse: Provides remote control of the computer
1. The wireless keyboard and mouse operate just like a standard keyboard and mouse, with the added ability to use both pieces at a location away from the console. 2. If you experience problems with these devices, please check the batteries first. The Classics office should have some on hand for replacements.
Kensington Remote: Provides remote control and laser pointer
Works with most programs (like PowerPoint) to control slides o Top button beams the laser pointer (will not show on the TV) o Right button advances to the next slide or page o Left button returns to the previous slide or page o Bottom button blanks the screen (PowerPoint) – press again to release Placing the USB receiver back in the unit turns unit off and saves batteries.
This is not a flash drive; please do not walk off with the USB receiver.
