MOTOROLA UHF LTR® Trunking Repeater System Integrated, cost-effective solution for UHF trunking Up to 5 channels maximum per rack Pretested to ensure easy setup and optimum performance Motorola’s new LTR® trunking system provides an integrated, cost-effective solution for UHF trunking. The consolidation of the repeaters, LTR controllers, transmit combiner system, receiver multicoupler/ preselector, and interconnect RF cabling into a ready-to-use package is a convenient and trouble-free alternative to conventional trunking equipment installation. The 23.5 x 23.5 x 84 inch open-frame eurocabinet is a premium quality product with a 43 rack unit capacity. The repeater and combiner equipment are pretested to ensure easy setup and optimum performance. However, due to FCC and site parameters, field optimization and LTR controller alignment is required. 3-Channel System Motorola Repeaters (one per channel required) R1225 Radius ™ Repeater The R1225 Radius™ repeater offers a wide range of options in a cost-conscious package. MTR2000™ UHF Repeater MTR2000 ™ Motorola Repeater The MTR2000™ repeater uses advanced technology to provide unequaled flexibility in a compact package. • 435-470 MHz operating band • Microprocessor-based design programmable on-site with a lap-top computer • 25-100 watts continuous duty cycle output, adjustable with no external amplifier required • Self-testing diagnostic routine with LED alarms • 85-264 VAC input voltage Transmit Combiners Quantar ™ Motorola Repeater Same as the MTR2000™, except operating band is 470-512 MHz. (one per rack required) Operating in the 450-470 MHz frequency range, the RDE4633A 3-channel and RDE4619A 5-channel transmit combiner meets the challenging spacing requirements of UHF trunking. Versatile and powerful, this combiner offers 100 KHz Tx to Tx spacing. With expansion capabilities of one to five channels, and exceptional isolation performance, the RDE4619A is a vital component of the Motorola LTR trunking system. • 450-470 MHz or 444-474 MHz operating bands • Microprocessor-based design • Choice of three power levels: • 1-10 watts output, adjustable • Optional rack-mount external power amplifier, 10 watts input, 100 watts output, continuous duty cycle • 25-45 watts adjustable output power (25 watts continuous duty; 45 watts 50% duty cycle) • Up to 16 channels may be programmed for backup soft-fail operation • 12 VDC input, for easy battery revert operation Frequency: 450-470 MHz Channel expansion: single to 5-channel expansion Power input: 125 watts per input Power reflected 30 watts Antenna to Tx isolation: 55 dB minimum Tx to Tx isolation: 60 dB minimum Insertion loss: See chart. The RDE4664A Rx multicoupler provides 5-channel output in one rack unit space. Power supply is UL approved and requires 115 VAC input. These filters are available in three models. The RDE4490A (shown) and RDE4491A provide single window passband and RDE4527A provides dual windows. RDE4490A Filter RDE4664A Multicoupler This unit is panel-mounted to the internal side of the rack.
