Important: please use all supplied bolts and parts and read all instructions carefully before beginning this installation. The majority of questions you may have can be answered within the text, and proper installation will ensure safe and secure travel. Now, begin the installation. This bracket assembly utilizes the E-A unit bumper mount and the frame. Remove the middle section of the plastic bumper fairing. 2. Remove the two lower bolts on each of the E-A bumper mounting plates. Insert braces up between the back of the bumper and the face of the radiator cowling. Align the front holes of the braces. Replace the bolts through the brace and the E-A unit. 3. Align the braces and using the braces as templates, drill three ½” holes through the brace holes into the cowling flange on each side. Note: the outer holes should go through the middle of the cowling flange. 4. Insert two 7/16” x 1½” bolts provided through the outer brace holes and radiator cowl flange with the ¼” x 1” x 4½” backing plate on the back of the flange, then a lock washer and nut. Fish wire the third 7/16” bolt with a clipped backup plate washer through the back of the cowl onto the brace. Tighten all bolts to the bolt torque requirements below. 5. Mount the tow bar according to the instructions provided with the tow bar.
