The included accessories The MD-330 R81713 module has been designed for use in the MMH-3000 headend (in the Base Unit UC-380 R81700). This encoder converts analog video/audio signals coming from analog cameras, video players etc. into MPEG-2 coded transport streams. The transport streams can then be fed into the TRX-360 R81709 DVB-T modulator (COFDM) and distributed in a RF network as channels in the DVB-T multiplex. The encoder has three composite video and three stereo audio inputs. The signals from the inputs are converted into MPEG-2 TS streams available at three individual MPEG2 TS outputs. The outputs are to be connected (via included ribbon connectors) to the inputs of the TRX-360 R81709 DVB-T modulator (the modulator can simultaneously process signals from another encoder or other modules of the MMH-3000 headend equipped with MPEG-2 TS outputs). The MD-330 R81713 encoder, similarly to all components of TERRA headend, can be configured using free Terra Link or paid CMH Master R81706 software.

MPEG-2 Encoder: Terra MD-330 (for MMH-3000 headend) Dimensions / Weight 47.5x117x220.5 mm / 0.9 kg Electrostatic discharge caution The module contains electrostatic sensitive components. To minimize electrostatic discharge, observe the following precautions: • Do not remove module from its anti-static plastic bag until you are ready to install it into the base unit. • Hold the module only by its front panel. • Do not place the module on an unprotected surface. Immediately after you remove the module from the base unit, you must insert it into its anti-static plastic bag. • When the module is not in use, keep it in its anti-static plastic bag. • Do not ship or store the module or base unit in/near strong electrostatic, electromagnetic or radioactive fields.
