MSD-601 is a Digital Multi-Switcher with 6 inputs and 1 output. This switcher has a built-in scan convertor. The MSD-601 contains 3 digital input ports (2 HDMI, 1 DVI) and 3 analog input ports (2 analog RGB, 1 analog component). Output is one channel distributed in 2 destinations (as HDMI and Cat6 output for extension). Audio signals can be input into 3 digital channels and 4 analog channels. 1 audio line input can be mixed on selected input source and output as digital and analog. Mixing level of each input can be configured separately and also output level can be adjusted. Settings can be configured over external control communication ports such as RS-232C, LAN, and Parallel. In addition, display devices connected to this product can be controlled over RS-232C and CEC using RS-232C, LAN, Cat6 output by registering external commands. Since these external commands have the wait function, contact points for power control of projectors can be changed after the cooling period. External control commands can be executed using DISPLAY POWER switch. ■ Specifications Input signals

This product supports 30bit/pixel Deep Color (10bit/component). It does not support xvYCC, Lip Sync, 3D, ARC, HEC. If extending DVI mode signals with HDCP, please use HDC- RD 100-B, as OUT B of this product does not support DVI mode with HDCP. RJ-45 (HDC connector) is a connector only for extending digital video and audio signals over Cat5e/Cat6 twisted pair cables. Please use it integrated with IDK’s twisted cable receiver and do not use it for devices such as LAN devices. T568A or T568B (straight wiring). Cat6 cable recommended if transmitting over 50 m. Transmission distance depends on connected equipment. The information above is maximum transmission distance when a cable made by IDK (AWG24) is used and signals (1080p 60 Hz 24bit/pixel (8bit/component)) are transmitted (both inputs and outputs of this product). When connected equipment is not matched to this product or other makers' cables are used, video signal can be unstable or video signals cannot be output, even though transmission distance is within the information above. As some of LCD monitors do not operate stabilized, please have an evaluation before using or ask IDK. Pseudo seamless function switches up videos putting black frames or back color between them. Anti-snow function can fix snowy noise automatically that is a specific symptom of the signal having HDCP, mainly snow noise that arises during starting. Therefore, this function cannot work when snow noise has already occurred before starting or when snowy noise occurs because of bad status of transmission line. Displays that are used with this product must support CEC. Some displays cannot be controlled by this product through CEC.
