MT-638 – 15” (1024 x 768 / Full HD) R. STAHL’s brand new, innovative 6x8 Remote HMI KVM SERIES has been designed specifically for the oil and gas industry. Suitable for use in Zone 2 and Zone 22 hazardous areas, these units are ideal for a wide range of applications on both onshore and offshore drilling rigs, e.g. for mud logging, MWD / LWD, rig instrumentation, well stimulation, etc. The digital data transmission via fibre optic or CAT7, the advanced sunlight-readable display with multi-touch technology and a wide variety of functions make this system a highly innovative human-machine interface. The 6x8 Remote HMI KVM SERIES features the latest trends in HMI technology. The built-in Bluetooth and optional camera enable VoIP video conferencing. The data transfer between PC and terminal is realized with our latest DVI3 version that allows transfers via copper cable (up to 150 m [492 ft.]), or, as a further option, via fibre optic (single mode 10 km [33,000 ft.] / multi-mode 500 m [1,640 ft.]). This new series is rugged and IP66-rated, provides outstanding resistance against shock and vibration, and allows operating temperatures from -40 °C to +65 °C [-40 °F to 149 °F].
