Multi-Modality Monitor RX650 With 6 megapixels, the RadiForce RX650 provides enough space to simultaneously display multiple radiological images and can replace a dual-screen solution with 3-megapixel monitors. The size of the monitor allows users to organize images on the screen as they choose. Ideal for work processes in radiology, without the bezel that is unavoidable in a dual-screen configuration. The RadiForce RX650 single-monitor solution also takes up less space than two monitors. The luminance characteristic curve is set during production in accordance with the DICOM standard to ensure that tone value differences are displayed correctly. A front sensor integrated into the monitor’s bezel (IFS) is used for precise and easy calibration without the need for any additional external sensors. The integrated sensor reduces the maintenance costs associated with image quality assurance.  6-megapixel, LED-backlit LCD module for consistently high and stable brightness  Palette with 68 billion colours for precise colour display (max. 10-bit)  Automatic luminance distribution control (Digital Uniformity Equalizer)  Set up for calibration, acceptance and consistency testing in accordance with DIN V 6868-57 and QS-RL  Hybrid gamma, fully automatic selection of hue curves for images that require different luminance characteristic curves  Integrated sensor for automatic, precise calibration  Light sensor to measure ambient light at diagnostic station  Presence sensor means the monitor is ready for immediate use whenever the user is in front of it  Picture-by-picture and picture-in-picture to display two monitor signals simultaneously Specifications Diagonal Image reproduction Image quality RX650 Features Precise colour control Colour reproduction is controlled via a 12-bit look-up table (LUT). Max. 10-bit resolution, or up to one billion colours, is available via DisplayPort. Automatic luminance distribution control A homogenous luminance distribution across the entire screen is desirable when seeking to ensure accurate image reproduction. This is done by the Digital Uniformity Equalizer, a special circuit that automatically corrects imbalances pixel per pixel. Integrated calibration sensor The built-in sensor ensures precise calibration of white balance and the tonal value. It is located on the display surface at the front, beneath the housing. The measuring location of the integrated sensor is aligned to the centre of the image. The integrated sensor can be used with RadiCS during calibration. The integrated sensor also allows for fully independent, automatic selfcalibration without the use of a computer or software. DIN V 6868-57-compatible The imaging properties, in particular brightness and contrast, enable you to configure DIN V 6868-57compliant image reproduction for application category A and B. LED backlighting The RX650 is able to achieve a consistently high and stable brightness thanks to its modern LED backlighting. EIZO therefore guarantees an operating time of 30,000 hours or five years (whichever occurs first) if the RX650 is operated at the recommended brightness level of 300 cd/m² (or less). Luminance control A backlight sensor, installed out of sight behind the image plane, continuously measures the luminance. Predefined or calibrated values are displayed accurately within seconds after the monitor switches on and are maintained at all times while it is in use. Ambient light sensor The ambient light sensor integrated into the monitor is used to measure ambient light. The optional RadiCS software can be used to determine the current illuminance with the aid of the ambient light sensor. Presence sensor The presence sensor automatically switches the monitor on and off based on whether or not the user is in front of the screen. The monitor reacts before the user moves the mouse or uses the keyboard after returning. It is therefore ready for use at all times, while consuming less energy and increasing monitor usage time when not in operation. Hybrid gamma This function automatically assigns the required tonal value to the different image areas. Radiologists automatically obtain ideal luminance characteristic curves for the respective application (DICOM, CIE, Gamma and so on) at the place where the application is located on the screen. Signal inputs, picture-by-picture DVI-D and a DisplayPort input allow for signals with 3280 x 2048 pixels. The RX650 can also process two 3-megapixel signals from two computers or two graphics boards. The different images are displayed next to each other (picture-bypicture). In this sense, the RX650 replaces a 3-megapixel dual-screen solution. RadiCS Optional software for calibration, acceptance and consistency testing. RadiCS provides extensive checks and automatic adjustment to ensure constant and consistent image reproduction.
